I was so NOT trying to start a bandwagon :f3:
@Niernen; lmfao I don't even have any reasons. I hate day 1 shenanigans so I basically just picked someone at random. His attitude came off as a tad aggressive, but I wouldn't ordinarily consider it scummy. As always, my vote was as much to provoke some (re)action from others to get things moving along as to indicate actual suspicion.

How is getting a day 1 no lynch particularly weird? They have to put up a really strong argument to pull it off, and we can look for those who supported it and voted no lynch and those who supported it but didn't vote no lynch (the most suspicious of all).
I literally voted Olsi for 0 reason/as a joke (new Sega? ^_^), I'm a bit confused where people saw my intent, considering I voted before anyone said anything about him.
That being said, [vote]Shidoshi. That vote just seemed way too convenient given the circumstances.
And I basically meant that a no lynch would be weird BECAUSE it would be hard to pull off. WIFOM and shiz
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
I agree on this one. There was a reason i didnt pay any attention and didnt respond to verrkol or tofuyoshi on their vote on me because they were either messing around, being idiot mafia or trying to bait something.
vote: Shidoshi although I have my eyes in other places and want to believe no mafia player would bandwagon on such a vote, this seems like the best action for now
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
I'm surprised you find my vote suspicious, I had stated my intentions to vote for either Niernen or Olsi. When absolutely no one joined to lynch Niernen and it's near the end of the day, I go and vote Olsi, my second candidate.
I wasn't interpreting intentions to y0y0y0y0's or VerrKol's votes, just settling for my second option since it was the one with any chance of coming to a lynch.
Voting off the one person actually trying to put pressure on other players instead of just "placing a vote until X person talks more" then taking it out without any consequence or other forms of unmeaningful voting seems unreasonable.
We're not all friends here and we have to settle on someone to die by the end of the day, jumping at the neck of the first person to actually suggest someone to lynch more than just for "easy lynch" reasons is pretty weak.
Edit: everyone is so afraid of "starting a bandwagon" as if we didn't actually have to decide on one person and kill him/her today.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
Stating suspicions as contingencies isn't exactly entirely unheard of.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
But sure, if you don't like active, aggressive townies voting people with intention to lynch, then go ahead, continue with your vanilla voting that's going so well.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
I'm not sure whats going on right now... I'll leave my vote for now (even if it won't do anything). The problem with being the third person to vote is then everyone thinks they are just jumping on and then they get screwed if the vote switches... we don't have much time left either. I'm not really for voteing for Shidoshi, but I don't really have a better candidate.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
As i said before i dont think your previously stated reasons are good enough. but still there is doubt inside of me. There would be better options for an easy vote off
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
[Vote] @TheBirds;
I know you don't like being active, but still post at least something useful. I've tried finding your posts from Page 4 to 6 but nothing popped up.
Also, sorry everyone for the inactiveness. I had classes, advising sessions, then went to the health center today. Quite a busy day.
Another thing to point out that I wanted to vote for Shidoshi at first, but decided against because of the 3-person rule, and also TheBirds looks more suspicious. I would rather lynch an inactive person that does not contribute to the game, seriously.
[EDIT X100]
Studying now, so don't expect me to reply.

They are better than the other weak reasoning people have used, inactiveness or flavour. An "easy vote off" seems like an excuse to kill someone without feeling bad about it, not with intentions of finding scum.
Edit: Niernen's position of not voting for me "even though he has no better candidates" has me dying to lynch him too, but I'm going with Olsi who's first important vote was an OMGUS.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
Going to go along with Luv, although ChaoticCJ still hasn't posted more than once too, right? Although everyone is against going off of previous games, I really don't want a repeat of the last one. I know school just started and we all have lives, but some effort > no effort.
I don't feel well about how Shidoshi jumped on Verrkol's vote for Olsi, but I don't have a good enough grasp of his alignment yet to make a vote.

The only other real reason used to vote has been on meow of voting a no lynch then taking it off with no explanation and even that was a better reason than voting me off from two or three posts at the start of the day.

Would you rather I had switched my vote for you then? :f6: I didn't switch my vote because I thought thebirds was a better candidate and you were not mafia. What exactly am I doing that is causing you to keep jumping on me? If I had voted for you, you probably would have a majority vote now, but then everyone would say I was bandwagoning. At the time my vote really would not have made a difference, so I left it where it was.

I don't care for day 1 lynches, as most probably know. I already warned about rushing into things like bandwagons, but I guess it can't be helped. Also, I wasn't necessarily defending myself again a vote, but merely making a snarky remark.

Because it's the same behaviour you had in another game when you were mafia, just commenting on a lot of things without committing to votes which are the only real thing the town has. Going with the flow pretty much, so you are never at risk of looking suspicious for doing something "wrong". As if the mafia would go and be doing faux-pas all the time and were easy to spot, it's in the subtleties.

ER... I had voted. All I was saying was I felt better keeping my vote on thebirds than switching it to you.

Yes, but Holypie said he may not be able to close it on time and votes after 11pm would not count.

Either way, I'm going to sleep now. Seems the day was way too short with anything real happening only on these last hours...
Edit: oh, so the Day is over.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
After a long day of indecision and silence, it became apparent that one of your fellow watchmen had been oddly silent the entire day, with discussion raging around and about him. You gather around TheBirds and carry him to the top of the Wall. You put the noose around his neck, and push. After examining his corpse, you discover that TheBirds was no wildling, but Three-Finger Hobb, the cook.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
You wake up and head to the courtyard dreading what you will find. At first, you don't notice anything amiss, but on closer inspection, you find a corpse wearing a crown of red gold with the points fashioned into the shape of flames. It seems the wildlings have managed to assassinate Kyrastri last night.

I didn't have anything eventful happen to me last night (that I know of).

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 1
Wow okay. Holy pomegranate.
I WAS going to say TheBirds' death confirms Davos is in the game (which would've indirectly reinforced Kyrastri's claim), but...yeah. I don't know if there were any other Onion based roles, but I'd think there's probably at least one more.
At any rate, we have 3 corpses - I'm going to look at who was voting for each of them (if any) as a starting point for suspicions today. >:[

I didn't catch that, so I didn't know she was an obvious kill choice.
Bad thing about not reading wiki. I tried reading it, but I don't understand a thing, so I gave up.

I agree with you. I just checked about Shidoshi said whether to vote for Niernen or you, and it was literally just saying he was still deciding.
Whereas, I, did give a valid reason why I suggested TheBirds in the first place. He was being inactive, and that's pretty scary as well.

Nope, she gets a kill. It says upon your (Stannis') death. Uh, I PMed her for a target and I guess the kill will go off with the day's lynch, but please don't influence Kyra for the kill. It's her decision and yeah the logistics of revenge kills are kind of hard on forums, haha.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
Well that was unfortunate. I was actually inclined to suspect Stannis + Davos + Melisandra (?) would be neutral, but that's obviously incorrect. I did not expect that suicide pact though and it really hits the town hard.
I have no nocturnal events to report unfortunately.

Maybe a bit confusing but I think it's pretty unambiguous.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
Oh. Would have made more sense if they were separate sentences and not one.
"You die if your partner does. If you die you can revenge kill. " vs. "You die if your partner does and if so you get a revenge kill".
Anyways, more on topic, but yesterdays voting became a mess at the last couple of hours with people switching and suddenly voting with little reasoning.

Once again the inactive lynch doesn't do a single thing of good, especially when TheBirds is someone who is typically inactive until Day 3 or 4, if not the majority of the game.

To be honest that's a pretty shoddy reason when half of us were against an inactivity lynch to begin with.
Plus, everyone's jumping on the inactivity wagon but did anyone even mention him? Notify him? I don't see any until less than an hour before the end of the day, but were talking about lynching him the entire day. It's like you guys intentionally let him play his normal game, when we all know it's his normal game, and used it as an excuse to lynch him.
Additionally, the majority of the votes against him occurred near the end of the day. 2/3 votes against him occurred in the last fifty minutes of the day. Hypermug, and Luv. Hypermug I can understand. Hypermug was The Onion Knight. He may have suspected a roleclaim that is impossible with the knowledge Hypermug had. That's the only reason I can think for Hypermug's late vote, since his post really didn't say anything about his TheBirds vote. But Luv voted for him because of inactivity, when more than a few of us were against an inactivity lynch.

Really good reasoning regarding Hypermug. I am a bit perturbed that people made a lynch out of TheBirds day 1 despite him almost always becoming really involved ~day 3 or so and usually to some gamechanging results. Especially with no Mentions or attempt to get his attention when under the guise of wanting activity. Nevermind trying to get a player who is notoriously quiet on early days to be active by threatening them. Or someone who had a (until his death) very positive softclaim (even I misunderstood him to think he meant that he was Davos) that nobody had challenged.
My vote is staying on Shidoshi because of his rapid escalation of aggression, but Luv is next on my list.
I will say as well that I'm actually relieved we got hit with a double whammy so early - we can recover from it right now and it improves the odds of us getting a positive lynch. Lategame 2 townie deaths is a massive swing in favor of the mafia. It also minimizes the likelihood of a further nasty surprise later on.
Assuming 3-4 mafians and 1-2 neutrals, we're looking at a best case of 9 remaining townies and a worst case of only 6. I think it's much more likely that it's somewhere in the 8-9 range, which gives us plenty of time to recover.

I can certainly understand people voting for Shidoshi due to his aggressiveness, but all of my memory of Shidoshi's playstyles are pretty outspoken and active. That's why I don't consider it scummy enough to vote for him at this time.
Good point about the early double whammy. I didn't think of it that way, and the revenge kill may work in our favor considering Kyrastri tends to be one who is very observant and make good conclusions.
As for the rest, I'm not sure if you thought the, "Defend Yourself" was pointed at you. I meant that towards Luv. Regardless, good info.

Nope, I didn't think so. Just felt like elaborating that I agree with your points but am not 100% convinced towards Luv and to share my opinion on what happened last night.
Which reminds me - do we have any idea who (if anyone) Hypermug targeted last night?

Ah okay, just wanted to make sure.
No idea. I didn't receive anything last night. It's possible his action didn't go through, but I don't see why that would be so since he killed himself in the morning.

Kyrastri killed herself. Mug was the onion-giver. It's possible someone roleblocked him (unlikely if TheBirds was our only roleblocker), I just find it odd that nobody mentioned finding an onion or anything weird like that. It's possible that his power only served to buff TheBirds, but I find that unlikely. With TheBirds being able to act only on odd number nights, I suspect we have an even nights roleblocker too.

You have it backwards.

Upon seeing the corpse, Hypermug's smile suddenly drops. He reaches towards his neck as if grasping for a pouch, but finds nothing. he draws his sword, and kills himself (SORRY THE WRITING SUCKS ;_;).

I also find it pretty unlikely that Hypermug's ability would only work on TheBirds, but I'm not sure who else within the lore would receive a benefit from it.

Oh whoops. I saw it in Kyrastri's power description and missed it in Hypermug's. Pretty dumb oversight on my part.

Literally no one else would benefit lore wise. I suspect there are no other onion related powers, but it's always possible for there to be another role blocker.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING YALL afternoon/evening to you other folk.
So as I promised I slept on the game and didnt get much out of it:f7:.
Not going to lie I thought Stannis' people would be the neutral party but i can see why they are townie. Them barbarians are a threat to all.
Any ideas on who else could be a neutral (if there is ofc)?
i'm also shocked no one claimed to get an onion. the onion knight died when he was with us in the morning so he must have been able to give it to someone...UNLESS he gave it to kyra which would make sense. Since our cook died in the last lynch and kyra and hyper HAD to know who each other were since it did say that they couldn't communicate outside of game thread to each other.
And that was breaking news with meowmixx. now to the weather report from tiffany.....
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
I didn't get anything in the night. Also thanks for trusting me a bit @Polantaris;. I can see how being the only player going aggressive might attract attention, it gets people uncomfortable and feels like a justifiable lynch.

I disagree. That message was probably there in the event that they knew who they were through the process of the game. At least in the past, the moderator would keep the information about who is their allies but blank it out, IE, "Your fellow mafiosos are: <REDACTED>." I think it was there to say that even though you might learn who the Onion Knight/Stannis was, you can't talk to them outside of the game.

I didn't really think Stannis' people were going to be neutral, because of the win condition of, "All threats to the realm eliminated." Why would Stannis be neutral towards that goal?
I can see Coldhands (the Other), being Neutral, because why would he care about either side of us at all, and if for some reason Dany's group is here, since she doesn't care about the current Westeros leaders/people, she wants to wage war to take it over anyway so she'll most likely be killing some of us to gain her throne. At the very least she wouldn't care about Wildlings vs Night's Watch because she can just torch the Wildlings when they show up.

No problem. I think people are too adverse to someone being aggressive. That's not to say I completely trust you, but I'm not going to chastise you for it, either.
Getting nothing kinda sucks, it doesn't seem like many people did anything that affects others (that they know of, at least).
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
It sucks but it's hard to avoid, if you judge people only by their posts without looking at the forum ID, you'd lynch LuvD every time and it's not always the right thing to do.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
That's my point. Using metagaming as an excuse to lynch/not lynch is silly. If someone was mafia, they probably wouldn't suddenly start acting different because then people would be "He's acting different from xx games, lets lynch him". Or conversely, if you were mafia, you could just to the same thing, being silent or overly talkative, ect., because people will say it is your style and protect you. Or if people learn or try to play differently, they suddenly get screwed from playing differently from their first few games because they must be mafia to play differently, right?
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
Yes and no. People will play differently as mafia, but it's not so obvious. It's in the subtleties in general. Last game it was clear Mas was mafia from the way he was diverting subjects, for example.

I have no nocturnal events to report unfortunately.
If there is a Melisandra still in the game, I'd think they'd be neutral, even if Stannis/Davos aren't.
I got a very odd role PM last night, but I'm not going to elaborate beyond that.
Mafia tends to be a game of metagaming, and I think it's a tool we shouldn't ignore. "Past connections will always lose to future collaboration" was something I was taught early on. If we work together using our knowledge of past games we have a better chance of winning.
I mostly agree with Mas on Shidoshi though. The aggression just seems extremely odd. Past games it seemed like Shidoshi was more level-headed with reasoning/precaution, this tunneling of Luv/Olsi just seems odd. And the last few posts last night just seemed...a bit too emotional, I guess? And using AtE on Polantaris just seems out of character as well.
However, if Shidoshi is scum, I think it's more than likely that Luv is too. This is looking like a repeat of last game's day 1. "Focus Luv, hammer someone else at the last minute"
Meowmix's last post is verrrrryyyyy odd and I'm going to ping them as my next scum suspect.
I think Polantaris is the only one so far that I think is probably town.
I'm gonna hold off voting for a little while, though. Better safe than sorry?

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
I did get a bit emotional last night, probably because my play style backfired on me and it seemed like I would be lynched. I considered going quieter today, but I don't think it's a better idea.
LuvD's posts really caught my attention today, but my reasons for suspicion of Niernen and Olsi remain.
I'm also finding y0y0y0y0shi0 acting very weird with respect to his other games, but I might be jumping at shadows now that a lot of players seem to suspect me now.
I hate not being very good at expressing why certain players seem suspicious to me, I generally end up with short posts.
I'll be home later in the afternoon to post from my computer with more patience.

How is voting for someone that is suspicious a bad thing? And yeah, my first vote was based on Kyra's flavour claim since the Night's Watch chooses its own leaders, but later removed when I understood who he was claiming as.
I have the feeling I'm being the elefant in the room, catching so much attention that most of the talk is about me. That way it's hard to evaluate other players because it's impossible for me to be unbiased, everything will seem close to OMGUS coming from me.
And how can you avoid going by feeling when you are blind?

 there there its ok Shidoshi. as momma always told me "if you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one including yourself". do what YOU feel is right and if everyone else dont like it then at least you know u stayed true to urself. plus the day is still young :)
also...wasnt there a blind guy in the knights watch?

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
Removed my vote from LuvD.
Grouping up meow, me and LuvD as suspicious feels weird. What we've had of meow would point more towards the normal cluelessness of Day 1 that most people not that experienced get, which would lead me to think he's town. My vote for LuvD was so we could start out this day with some action and not just wait on something to happen (which never happens). If my voting for Olsi on Day 1 seemed convenient, Olsi's jump on the wagon on me was even more convenient.
[Vote] y0y0y0y0shi0

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
None of that makes any actual sense. You're basically saying that a possible lapse in judgment regarding Olsi's eagerness to vote you, in equivalence to you voting him, makes me scum because I should think he is scum as well. Which would make all 3 of us scum. None of that is uhhh..what's the word...concurrent?
You're admitting that your vote yesterday was convenient and suspicious, and therefore so is Olsi's, and by not commenting on Olsi's vote I'm scum too. But if you're admitting that your vote was suspicious how are you faulting us for thinking you're scum?
And Luv was the person who *started* "grouping up" on meow. But it's suspicious that people are grouping up on them both?
I didn't fault meow for the "day 1 cluelessness" but their post today basically looks like they're ignoring everything that's happened in the thread since then for the sake of putting up an appearance of posting, which seems odd to me.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
I'm not admitting my vote was convenient and suspicious, just that you seemed to be finding suspicion in me when Olsi's vote was the weird one.

If I think your vote was suspicious, and the person you voted agrees with me, even if they are both suspicious I'm still going to be more wary of the person I initially found suspicious.
And, at that, how is that a conviction for me over Olsi? I voted you before Olsi voted. Was I supposed to know Olsi would vote you and preemptively find him suspicious?

u pretty much hit it on the head. i wont lie to yall cuz nothing good comes from lying. i really dont have much to say. just dont need Luv coming at me with the pitchforks saying "lynch the witch" LOL. am i really ignoring things that have been said....NOPE. its all being read at least twice, maybe more with the constant refreshing. if i see something worthwhile i promise i will preach it :shine:

No, I had suspicions of you because of the way you were acting. But now you are playing more like I know you to.
I was in doubt of who to vote there, voting you had more chance of seeing a worthy reaction. I don't suspect you anymore.
Edit: also, every time I post I keep thinking of all the ways to twist what I say into something suspicious. Which is great for my self esteem.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
[vote] @y0y0y0y0shi0;
I don't exactly trust your vote right now. You're using a lot of circular reasoning and a lot of your posts appear to be worded intentionally to be confusing to read while seeming like you're making a perfectly logical point. @Shidoshi; is characteristically aggressive in the early game and I was curious to see who, if anyone, would decide to go along with my vote. Your behavior alongside Doshi's unrefuted claim (I recommend people look up what role a Maester serves and question whether we really want to risk that kindof a lynch) is enough cause for me to change my vote.
Luv is still on my watch list, I want to keep that perfectly clear. As before, I think he's way too vulnerable to a lynch, though, which makes him a prime target (if townie) for mafia to set up to take a fall, guilt-free.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
@Shidoshi; Your reasonings for the previous day really were not that great, although admittedly there was not much to go off of. I'm not really going to take the emotional parts into account, since people either get emotional, crazy, or role reveal when they are about to be lynched. I get why you initially voted for me, since I really don't post anything initially. I also get why you jumped on Olsi when Verrkol voted for him since you wanted to get rid of either me or him. But your reasoning that we where repeating/agreeing or posting flavor really were not that great. There is not much to post the first couple of hours, and without knowing the GoT lore it would be hard to see all the hints from flavor. I voted for TheBirds to to see if he had anything else to say, because he usually does notice a few things but stays silent till the later days, which really does not help the rest of us. I was not expecting him to be voted off as you had the majority vote at that time and there was only a couple hours left. I didn't vote for you because I had already explained my reasons for voting for TheBirds and I didn't think switching my vote to you was a good idea because I didn't think you were mafia. If I had switched my vote, then it is likely you would have died, with a 3:2 vote. Hyper's vote makes sense if he thought theBirds was trying to claim as the onion knight when he was. That would have still left you with the earlier votes, but Luv voted for thebirds because of inactiveness, which wasn't a really good reason. I see why you immediately jumped on that, but honestly, if luv had not voted for thebirds, you yourself would be dead. I was kind of torn weather to vote for Luv or you, but it really didn't look like your read my posts yesterday
Quote:
Niernen's position of not voting for me "even though he has no better candidates" has me dying to lynch him too, but I'm going with Olsi who's first important vote was an OMGUS.

And while typing this a whole new page pops up :f7: Missed the whole thing with Y0shi, reading that now.
Something (maybe not entirely relevant right now) that I noticed is most of the first votes are "to get people to talk". This usually causes the person voted against to come in and defend themselves, when the may not have posted much or anything otherwise. Of course, if they don't respond then it does looks suspicious. But wouldn't that go against the whole "don't vote off inactives" everyone was preaching about yesterday? Voting to get someone to talk is pretty similar to voting for someone because they are inactive. And then removing the vote if they just come and say hi, its voting for the sake of voting and accomplishes nothing. And to point out, but if a townie has a useful power, wouldn't they try to be a bit more active and invested in the game? While a power helps, if you stay silent we don't know what you are doing and it looks like you are not involved.

I know my posts have been worded extremely poorly. I'm having trouble putting together words right now. I got my point across and that was all I was really hoping for. Brain is farting with regards to using the words that I want to use.
But I'm not voting for anyone right now. And I started the vote on Shidoshi yesterday so I'm not exactly sure how I'm following your vote.
I stated Shidoshi seemed aggressive. Which, objectively, is rather scummy to me. I haven't seen enough of Shidoshi's early game to know that's expected of them, all I know is that it didn't seem consistent with what little I've seem from them in the past. Other games I've seen, Shidoshi hasn't really seemed to...care(?) all that much about the game, but now it seems they're rather emotionally invested. That stuck out to me.
And you should know by now that I'm not one to immediately write someone off as town based on their claim. I'm a much stronger advocate of scumhunting over gaming the setup.

Yes I have. All I have to add is that the only person I feel like is standing out at the moment is MasPan.
Why?
Because on D1 all he did was finger point. List out reasons why the person should be watched and etc, under the guise that when he isn't mafia he tends to get killed off early. I feel like this could be some skilled misleading by MasPan and when he doesn't end up dead and fingers start pointing at him he can easily claim that mafia could be doing some WIFOMing by leaving him alive so that the town will waste a day voting him off.
Of course my reasons for believing he could be mafia are WIFOM in their own right, but it is all I got at the moment.

The difference between early Day 1 voting and Inactivity Lynching is that the Day 1 vote doesn't have the intent to actually lynch anyone, while Inactivity Lynching is specifically designed to take someone out because they are inactive under the theory that they must be mafia otherwise they would be talking (which usually isn't true on Day 1).

So in other words I'm acting so much like a townie that, knowing me, it must be manipulation because I'm me. I'm flattered lol. I think any game where Meta and I don't suspect one another is automatically going to be suspicious, though - we've played mafia together/against each other for so long now that we can't help but be wary of the other.

That is the exact defense a mafia MasPan would use too.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
Well, last night was rather uneventful for me. I am still not sure what to make of yesterday and today's post because it has been a great amount of words with little meaning. The only vote I don't quite understand is VerrKol's. All of the other vote seem justified in some way, either in self-defense or in defense in someone else. I guess the difficult part is telling whether these votes link those who seem to have some type of alliance. Shidioshi and Luv seem like easy targets, and Olsi seems to be a defended target as well. Today is probably going to be another shot in the dark...
I am going to hold off from voting right now while I collect my thoughts and filter through the information we have.

I dont believe it. Its the start of a new day where he was in very little risk of being lynched and he role claims maester aemon now instead of when he was about to be lynched? I call bullpomegranate, why would he randomly roleclaim now?
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
Since I'm already half a foot in claiming, might as full claim.
I'm Maester Aemon and I'm an Odd-Numbered Night Doctor and I'm town.
On Night 1 I protected Polantaris, because he's generally a good player and he seemed town. It hurt me when I read the doctor must not know much of GoT flavour for not protecting Kyra and couldn't comment on it, ouch.
I wanted to hold off claiming for obvious reasons, but I guess it's better to die Night 2 than waste Day 2's lynch. @Olsi; I held off claiming Day 1 because it was only really close to the end of the Day that I became at risk of being lynched. At which point there was little time for people to go and change votes. I also really didn't want to have to claim since it means I'll probably die the night after. It's part of the reason I was urging people not to be so hasty with claims on D1.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
I really don't like your claim Shidoshi. We have over 24hrs before the next lynch and already you've given up on remaining hidden because of a small number of votes. I'm not sure if this actually has any implications about your faction, but it seems like a poor move in either case.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
So it seems I'm at the same time claiming too soon and too late. Nice.
-
Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
:f7: you had so much time before you had to resort to a full roleclaim. There was little pressure on you because it was the start of the day.
Sigh. I guess shidoshi will die tonight if he isnt full of it. also seems like maspans last message was trying to convince people to ignore metas post

Indeed. It would be very easy for the mafia to kill you next, Shidoshi. And, it's not an odd-numbered night tonight so it's a double whammy.

Re: A Song of Ice and Mafia Day 2
Not sure if I completely buy the "Odd nights doctor" part - it's a really convenient excuse to "miss" a protect tonight.
