Get a 20+ str top and just wear a str cape. Rest will fall into place.

I justed wanted to know what % an hour other people got training at gobies in late 9x. I am there now and the exp seems to suck, although, its not any better at other places I have tried( wolf spiders, kents, duals). It seems like Im getting 10-15% an hour solo. Is there anywhere else I can try?
go pure brandish when you get to hit 3 monsters(lvl 21 brandish) per brandish
once you get to hit 3 monsters start putting points to ac
so when you lvl up you put 2 pts to brandish then 1 to ac for little attack dmg boost
at lvl 9x gobies is godly exp with a good moving party
just get a priest and a couple of attackers and you should be set
i cant remember how much exp i got back then during the goby days but all i know the exp is good.
thanks for the quick replies. I did another 30 minutes solo and gained about 6%. Then someone came and asked if I wanted to party, so I went but they had no priest so it was pretty slow. I will have to try the 2 attackers and 1 priest formation later. Thanks again
considering it is a peach to get brandish 30 I wouldn't recommend this AT ALL, at lvl 8 brandish will pretty much own PS panic combo just by its speed, the big pitfall of early brandish is that it doesn't kb for a bit on hard monsters. You get AC 1 point the SAME TIME you get brandish so you have the 30% chance of getting orbs faster because there are still times you may still use panic/coma. Once brandish is at 20 put points into ACA till you pass a 30 book but always keep 1 extra sp so when you pass it you get the 3 monsters which is godly
GOBIE PARTIES ARE DEAD, I did it when everyone was there and got from 30-40% an hour on 2x at lvl 93, I would suggest leeching a mage as your fastest bet, but a more reliable solution would be to try himes with a low lvl priest. it will be alot easier to find that then a whole gobie party for more then an hour
So I'm thinking of restarting my page. :> He's level 59, Dexless, BW. I know, so creative. :x
Anyway, I have no idea where to train. At the moment, I'm dead broke. Selling some stars and old gach scrolls on my sin in hopes of getting some income. If all works out well, I'll have 20-30m or so at my hands. :D
I'm thinking about adding Dex. I can live with a low Dex build, not too keen on using a Maple Weapon till 70. Course, I know I have the 64 Maple Weapon laying around on my Islander, so I might just use that. :|
Anyway, questions.
All I can think of at the moment. I'll be sure to come back if I think of more. :D
- Where should I train? At the moment, my range, acc, and other stuff that comes in handy. I have around 500k in mesos and a few hundred pots between my Page and sin, more after I NPC some stuff. :x (Edit: Sold some scrolls. Now I got 21m. :>)
Spoiler- How much does it cost to stay Dexless into the mid 70s? 80s? (I'm in Khaini, but rough estimates are fine.) How much cheaper would it be to pump my Dex up 20-30 or so points? How much damage would that cost me?
Please and thank yous. :D
250m-500m for when? I'm sure it cost more to be Dexless at 150 than it does at 50. :x
I just wanna know how much it'd cost for me to stay Dexless 'till 75-80ish, then go low Dex versus going low Dex now. :x
I think I'll be fine, accuracy wise, for a while. Yey 64 Maple Weapons.
i need opinions of dark knights on this question. would it be smart to put 10 lvls of ap points into hp so that it would easier to beserk without dying? this is sort of like blood building for bowmen just so that a dark knight can beserk almost 100% of the time? i'm thinking the 170% increase at lvl 21 is greater then 7-8 atk overall damage increase?
I'm at Wild Boars at level 22 right now and I get about 10% in 3 minutes so I level kind of fast..
But would KPQ be faster? :O
35 accuracy with pot btw :O
That or you could Araint PQ. Kerning PQ's exp is slower... alot. its good per pq but last time I checked its still hard to get into a party.
I'd say if you do ariant PQ get a good level 29 friend to get all your jewls then bomb him and get a higher score (If he's nice and will let you do this)
I'ma be doing this for a friend of mine soon =]
When should i cap my dex zhelms are not a prob
Once you understand how much acc you need to hit what you want to hit 100%(ussualy around 139 for training, 165 for horntail) the base dex you need becomes obvious. Look at the stats of your equips and see how much acc you'll get from them all together(1 dex = .8 acc, 1 luk = .5 acc). Google for an acc calculator and put in your stats + whatever you're training's stats to see your hit rate and acc required to hit 100%. If you need more acc upgrade your equips as much as possible; add dex to your base only as a last resort.
Ussualy it's possible to be dexless at least up until your 80s with ease. Even after it isn't too hard to be dexless with good acc/dex equips.
Alright, so I decided to make myself a Dexless Fighter. Currently I'm only level 50, but that isn't what I'm worried about. I just managed to get myself a 116/13 Blue Screamer to use at level 80, so my equips, from what I've gathered so far, look like this:
15/16/15/15 Zhelm
Deputy Star Pendant
3/8 Dex PAC
11 Accuracy Snowshoes
25/13 Overall
116/13 Blue Screamer
13 ATT BWG's
7 Dex Nose
So with all that, I have about 2.1 billion meso to upgrade, which I believe leaves me with quite a few options. Where should I start upgrading?
Also I can get myself a 120 ATT Sunrise, not sure about the STR on it. How long would this Sunrise last me? Should I buy it, or just use the Screamer until I have a good enough Brandish and upgrade to 1 Handed/Shield?
The acc you get from those equips should last you a while, you should work on coverting dex gear to str and acc gear to dex(for a little damage boost if you really want more). Try scrolling your zhelm for 28-30+ dex if you can get into a steady zrun and dump that dex pac for a str pac(or chao scrolled for more attack if possible)
I'd keep the screamer and go 1h once you have enough brandish, but it depends on the deal and how long you're going to be using a 2h sword.
I'm a level 84 crusader. The last huge training session I did was 74-80 last Thanksgiving during the 4x. I gained 2 more levels within a month or so after that. I gained the last 2 (83 and 84) in the past 7 months or so, 84 being about a week or two ago. Most of it was the new mini boss quests and the various CWK ones that gave a bunch of exp. :X
So...where to train? I hate all ludi maps. Heck, in general, I hate large maps like that. I can barely stand wolf spiders, but because of my low damage and high pot burning, training there sucks. :/
I did try Pirates for a little while and...got bored. Instantly. I could not stand circling the map at ALL. <_<
So, equips/stats:
3/3/3/3 +40 HP +40 MP 60 W. Def 60 M. Def 4 Speed 1 Jump 7 Slot Lord Pirate's Hat
17 DEX 9 ACC 50 W. Def 2 Speed 0 Slot Black Dragon Robe
+50 MP 2 M. Def 5 Slots Leaf Earrings/8 W. Def 58 M. Def 5 Slot Cecelia's Earrings
5/5/5/5 +100 HP +100 MP 35 W. Def 35 M. Def 3 Slot Silver Deputy Star
1 Att 6 STR 7 W. Def 8 M. Def 0 Slot Pink Adventurer Cape
8 Att 5 STR 29 W. Def 1 ACC 0 Slot Dark Husk
4 STR 1 DEX 49 W. Def 3 Speed 2 Slot Dark River Boots
105 Att 7 STR 1 W. Def 0 Slot Blue Screamer
5615 HP
657 MP
395 STR (365 base)
98 DEX (72 base)
12 INT (4 base)
12 LUK (4 base)
Attack: 1230 ~ 2183
W. Def: 231
M. Def: 117
Acc: 114
Avoid: 30
Speed: 109%
Jump: 101%
So there ya go. Anyone have training suggestions? I do have a 121 Bishop (missing 3 skill points) that I gained access to from a friend. It only has the 3 base skills and Maple Warrior so far. Whenever I get around to doing the Genesis quest, I'll have level 1 of that and I already have level 1 Maple Warrior. I'm considering leeching my crusader, but that would require training the bishop and yea...<_<
Where should a level 51 Axe fighter (Very well funded) that can average hit about 2.9k-3.4k with Power strike train at for the 4x EXP this Saturday and Sunday?
FoG? STD's?
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good
swordman>fighter>sader>hero guide?
I'm planning on making one for fun, and
am totally clueless about warriors xD;
thanks <3

There's a few DEX discussion threads in this forum. Those should be able to help you figure out how much DEX you'll want (rest would go into STR).
I could type out the skill builds, but meh. For warrior, get Max HP increase first (you have to add like lvl 3-5 hp recovery before that :X). After that, max power strike and slash blast.
For Fighter, do w/e order you want. I suggest mastery in your lower levels for the added acc and saving PG or FA till the end. For FA, save up about 12+ skill points and dump it all at once.
For a crusader, max combo first. Then add Coma, and then panic. You'll finish up with shout and relax.
I don't know much about a hero's build. :X
If there isn't one on this forum, I do know that Sleepywood/MapleTip/etc have various warrior guides. Most are pretty accurate for the skillbuilds of heroes.
Really? I haven't heard of that before. :f6: Although I guess I could see why, but meh. Either way, just go Combo, Coma, and Panic and you can't be screwed too much. XD

What attack red katana is roughly equivalent to a 119/12 sparta for damage per minute? And is anyone willing to sell me one ;_;?
.
I'm a WK about to reach 8x, and mysterious path 3 has been working fine, but should i move on somewhere else? I'll max out Fire charge next level and I was thinking dual ghost pirates...Are there any other, maybe better options out there or should I go with this?
And I forgot to mention I have 108 accuracy at the moment o_o, so I might have some problems with that later...Sniper potions will only go so far(118). Although I COULD use a 12dex cape I have instead of a 3atk pac but would that be worth it?
im told blue kents is good for wk. try windraiders too (but i cant remember what their strengths/weaknesses are). or ghost pirates if you miss duals too much.
imo, the dex cape is worth it if you dont miss with it but miss without it when youre using a sniper pill. you wont be killing in anything less than 5 hits, and even 1 miss in those 5 hits would be more damage than the extra 3 att gives you.
I'm trying to figure out how much damage my DK would do at lv 80.. It has 17 base dex, 4 int, and 4 luk.. All together at lv 80, after equips it would have something like 453 str, 69 dex, and 142-145 attack (without pot). According to hidden-street, my max range would be 3384.. How much damage would that be with the 3 hit attack (forgot what it's called)? Sorry, I don't know crap about warriors, I just got the DK to lv 70 for fun.. I'm thinking about getting it to 80, just to be a damage whore f3. Any help?
Also, how much accuracy would be good, or enough to train at lv 80?
Thanks in advance.
At that level it depends a lot on what you train on, you get up to 6-7k damage penalty if you hunt strong monsters.
What is the formula for HP washing for swordsman, spearman, DK, and DrK? I know about washing, but I don't know the formula. Thank you!
Hey der guys. I'm level 100 now and wondering.. What of the remaining moves is best to max? Relax(Mp recovery), Shout or Armor Crush? While I'm at it, can someone refer me to a good and reasonable build (primarily for Himes/Newties/Skele) for a hero. Thanks in advance.
Lulz, I posted it in the wrong thread before...
The first thing I would max is Shout. It's not very useful, to be honest, but it's nice to have it for stunning (if you ever need to) or just a ranged attack to kill snails...or to kill that giant fairy in APQ.
After that, I'd go for Relax, considering Armor Crush is useless...I just put a single point in it for show.
Armor crash is useful at ht. It's also useful at zak if there's not a bishop dispelling (not positive that priest's dispel works on zak arms, taking this info for granted without double checking).
Relax is good, but lvl 11-20 relax yields LESS gain. Shout is fine, not useful at all. I only use shout when doing quests that ask to kill xxx weak monsters, or i use shout to explode papu floor bombs while papu is in its shell.
I recommend eventually having maxed crashed (in my opinion, if it's not max then it's not worth using...just for show). The animation for crash takes a long time, i only use mine because it's maxed and works 100%.
My final suggestion by lvl 120 is maxed shout, maxed crash, lvl 11 mp recovery (or you can max mp recovery and trade off the sp with shout).
For a good and reasonable build for a hero: there's only one way to start off the build o.O
Here's what i think a hero build should basically consist of:
1 brandish, 1 ac, 1 rush
max brandish
max ac
max stance
max mw/rush/achilles
1h heros do the same, but max guardian towards the end.
mw isn't particularly useful or important since everyone has mw10 (and many have mw20). if you solo often, you might look into mw10 or maxing mw before stance...i guess if you solo often you won't be bossing much (zak or ht) so stance won't be such a big priority.
Thanks XtremeBeast. I think I'll follow your build =].
I forgot enrage which also gets added towards the end. it's really not that useful...gets dispelled during most bosses which is a pain.
add hero's will sometime whenever you think you'll start doing ht. magnet is a waste of sp. maybe 2h heros can get magnet since they won't be getting guardian. i don't know what else to suggest. i never "raised" a hero. when 4th job came out, i had all the sp to spend so never got used to raising anything, just trying to work books.
As a level 72/(almost 73) WK is Hoodoos, the best option or is there something better?( you might wanna throw in some money advice while your here :D) Been a while since I've trained a warrior below 13x.
Fire charge
Crappy equips [319 str(316 base D:) 72 dex(60 base D:) ]
91 acc >_>(with pots)
1354 max damage range >_>
About 5m >_>
Kradia :D
No plans for NX in the near future.
you should try out windraiders, but really, nothing is going to be too great until you get to duals
How much would a 21dex red battle road be worth? Server Bera
Long time lurker, first time poster... Thanks for all the entertainment and information provided...
I am a level 91 White Knight on Mardia; max fire, max ice, 4 points in charge blow...
The question is, what is the real utility of charge blow and exactly how/when/against what is its best use? Pretty much a noob question but I haven't been able to find the detail I need in any posts. Can't be that obvious, can it? I know it's powerful and want to be able to use it to its fullest, so I come to the pros.
The best time to use Charge Blow is when your charge is about to end. Of course you could macro whatever charge you want and Charge Blow, but that would be slow.
In the 4th job you get Advanced Charge Blow which powers up Charge Blow by 10% damage each level(making it 350% at lvl10). It also gives 10% chance of keeping your charge when using Charge Blow each level. This means that Charge Blow will take the place of Slash Blast as mob attack in the 4th job, and in the 3rd job when your charge ends.
Charge Blow will be a finisher until you get Advanced Charge Blow, after that it will be your mob attack.
EDIT: Does anyone know more about Soul Master(Cygnus Warrior) already?
Question:
I have 50K NX. I have a low dex(40) level 80 Dragon knight. It's been retired for a while due to lack of funds to afford accuracy. With this 40k, I plan to fund him. Would it be sensible to use this 40k to buy Mesos Sacks, Or to buy his equips using MTS?
I do not want a Z Helm so do not recommend that.
On Bera the MTS is generally a better deal (about 3mil per 1k NX) so I'd suggest using it if you can.
Zakum Helm is pretty well inevitable o.o it's the centrepiece of low-dex gear, and for most characters adds the most acc of any equip. Has 20-30 more acc than other hats (depending how much you want to spend).
Why do you not want a zakum helmet? It's the best upgrade/price for you at the current moment.
To the heros, when did you start training at the following maps if ever?
Crimson Guardians
Jr Newties
Peak
Skeles
And what was your approximate damage with brandish when you started?
newties suck, auto-aggro + magic att is bullpomegranate. 18-21 or higher brandish, but i strongly recommend at least 21. 4-5hko on skele and transformed newtie / 6hko on guardians makes for better training than anywhere else. per hit about 10k minimum (or 20k/brandish).
check isaac's tables for skill lists.
it looks to me like in 2nd & early 3rd job theyll play similar to a hermit using avenger all the time, but way more powerful. 1st job is just another warrior, late 3rd job... probably like a hero.
Haven't yet
121, 11k
127, 14k
Haven't yet
Are Crimson Guardians the best solo exp/hour period, or do you have to be able to kill in a certain amount of hits for it to be worth it (considering seal)? Basically I'm asking the same question I quoted and wondering when it would be ideal to train there instead of Peak. Cost doesn't concern me.
I use a lunchbox, if that matters.
ought to be best period since they dont have a bad hp to exp ratio and since they have more hp you spend more time swinging your sword instead of walking. however at lower levels, death is a real issue with certain pots if you dont like to overpot.
^ this is regardless of having a lunchbox. however, ive found that a 3hko on unbuffed skele with fast4 allows you to dodge a beam attack while still getting a rush in. kinda nice...
i want to ask...
can a bunch of warriors help me kill a Zak or HT. aka All warrior run f.t.fun? im nto well known enough to gather x many people. this is scania btw
Anyone got inspiration on how to be an completely unfunded DK? XD
start on the next new server...
started on windia way back when as a fighter. even had the first 11 att glove in the server. some guy 20 lvls higher than me wanted to trade it for a doombringer while it was still 9 att 1 slot when ynp was the only decent thing that dropped them. :glitter:
the new quests make it easy to train with free pots.
At lv 30-35
and 35-50 or 60.
Lv 30-35 Should i use gladius (1h lv 30 sword) or broadsword?
Lv 35-50/60, 100% a Lionheart or 100% a Zard. (I already found the zard x_o but havent 100%'d)
I am making a hybrid Paladin.
Yes, I know everyone says sword > BW, but I love BW.
I am dexless. I have 15 att sc, 4/8 dex PAC, 26 dex 12 acc Silver Fitted Mail, 2 att 5 dex FS and 11 Dex earring. The blunt weapon side of things I have covered: 80 att 10 str Doomsinger, 118/13 Morningstar and 120/11 Battle Hammer. I will need a good attack shield and swords.
What I need help with is the build. I am guessing the best long-term option in second job is to max both masteries, boosters, and Power Guard, and leave 10 in Threaten. In 3rd job I was hoping for advice with what to do... I am guessing I'll need to pick either BW or sword in 3rd job... In 4th, I am guessing I can easily hybrid by mastering both Divine and Holy charges.
Nevertheless, while I have some guesses I've never built a Pally before. Of all the top Paladins, only one seems to be a hybrid, so I don't think many people do this. Advice would be appreciated.
advice: skip FA since it rapes mob damage, maxing both sets of charges is feasible if you dislike mana regen and other third job bits and pieces that arent relevant to damage, i wouldnt recommend maxing both holy and divine since your strained for 4th job points as it is especially with guardian as a 1h
I'd drop the level of both boosters to max Threaten, since it actually improves the more points you put in it :x
As for 3rd job, I'd say you could go Fire-Flame-Ice-Blizzard, or Fire-Flame-Ice-Thunder... Charge Blow either way.
Is it too late to convince you BW is not worth it :P with your 15scg + 4 cape + 2 shoe, the 118 Morningstar is about as strong as a 106/5 Devil's Sunrise when you use Warrior Elixirs, and a 103/3 when you use Apples. The 120 Battle Hammer (assuming you get a 12 shield) is as strong as a 105/4 Sparta with Warrior Elixirs, or a 98 clean Sparta with Apples.
Really if you "need" to have BW option I'd say build like that
2nd job:
20/20 Mastery
10/8 booster (8 bw)
30 Sword FA
30 Powerguard
3 Threaten
3rd job:
30/30 Fire/Flame
30 Ice swd
30 Lightning swd
30 Charge Blow
4th job:
etc. as usual build
don't get Divine Charge, the 20 book is rare and real BW paladins might want it
At what level PA Fury is it feasible, for training, to use over Slash Blast?
Level 7 PA Fury. Max slash blast does 160% and lvl 7 PA fury does 170%. Also Fury has alot more range than slash blast so if there's bigger mobs you might wanna gather them up even with lvl 1 Fury.
I was using it from level 4, as with FA my damage to the first couple targets was still better with SB, leading to better map movement (if the target in front of you dies you can advance to new mobs, if you kill all of them at the same time it's not as consistent). Range is helpful from 1 though.
you didn't consider that PA fury does not reduce damage for each next monster. With that you'd have a much higher damage output with more monsters.
its in there, slash blast is assumed without fa. fa lowers slash blast's dps anyways. slash blast without fa doesnt "reduce damage for each next monster" either.
@ stereo: i would have thought that with fa even lvl 1 fury would be better training because it provides so much more consistency. its interesting that you dont want the mobs to die at the same time.
what I mean is that slash blast works kind of like iron arrow for xbowmen, reducing the base damage for each monster it passes through.
no it doesnt, it hits each monster for 130%. fa hits total to 250% against 6 monsters with each hit successively smaller by a factor of 3. thats what youre thinkin of, is fa. not slash blast.
50-74 or so I was at FoG, wearing near 140% speed gear (something like 136 with pills). Being able to kill the stuff directly in front of me was better than mob damage, everything died pretty quickly either way.
Also lv.1 fury is ridiculously affected by defense up, which the Golems cast after a couple hits (dropped damage by 30-35%). Better to kill a couple quickly than to make 6 mad and then not be able to kill them so quickly.
I guess with windraiders it might be beneficial to use 1 Fury there since you can snipe most of the mobs.
Thanks, you guys were really helpful.
I need 5 more acc to 100% hit nightshadows, but dont know what the cheapest way to get that acc is. I only have 14m right now so this might be hard, but I am thinking that some 7/8 dex earrings would be the best guess. I have a clean zhelm, cwk pendant, str cape, 6 dex 3 acc pants 5 slots( just failed a 10% i got from skeles today) and 7 acc 1 dex shoes. I have no earrings atm.
I'm having an accuracy issue at level 23 >.<
I have 133k, and saving them for pots. I really want to KPQ in hopes of getting a monster card and shoes. Yet I can't even hit the aligators, let alone King Slime. I have 24 accuracy now, with an accuracy pot to help. In two levels I can also use a pig illustrated for a boost of 10. So what can I do without really spending any mesos (Unless I get a overall dex 10%) to boost my accuracy.
Also where does a level 23 train? :P with 24 accuracy.
well cheapest is if you train with pot, try to find a blesser (or a high MHer). I would definitely go for a 7 dex earring, if you feel lucky try to finish those pants but i wouldn't recommand that because it's the best way for you to blow those pants and turn mesoless... you want to go with the safest solution.
Be the leader! If you plan only to kPQ and with such limited budget, lead the PQ and you won't need to hit aligators; 23->25 is very fast @kPQ, then as you said you can use the pig illustrated waiting to meet the lvl requirement for maple weapons.
no guildies, no friend to help you?
It is true that kPQ in gMQ is hell for warrior, I am more experienced on jMS kPQ and usually even if people had loot their number of ticket they keep killing aligator until everyone has ticket (it's much faster) here in gMS people would wait near portal and yell at you, they don't realize they loose even more time than just help you.
You want card and shoe, honestely what I would do is train normally until 25 and come back with the book; kPQ is getting so slow after 27 that you'll still have your chance to put your hand on those items, and not loosing your time trying to find a PT as you are doing right now.
So I have a new dilemma with choosing which character to train =_="
I have a 5X Axe Fighter that has absolutely no funds on it, and I have a level 3X Page with very little funds. I can buy a 10k NX card and that'll help either character for the time being, but I was just curious to which one would be more fun to play in the future.
Thanks ^_^
How soon are you talking?
I'd probably choose fighter in either case actually, since WKs are just more Power Strike, Slash Blast, whereas Saders actually have two new moves. Then there's Heroes, they're nice for bosses xD Paladins are decent I guess =/ Personally I get a rush when I have huge mobs which I can ACB to death xD
have you gotten axe FA yet? because if you havent you could convert to swords fairly easily...
but really, its gotta be about what you wanna do in 3rd job (or 4th) cuz theres almost no differentiation in 2nd. i like crusader better because you can train anywhere. theres tons of spots and you arent limited by element weaknesses, especially when you only have 1-2 elements in the lower lvls. you can go own ynp, or dynp, or any kents, bains, himes, lycans, ws, gobies, ns, stormbreakers, firebrands, all without taking a hit to your damage because you dont have x element.
as for fun with wks, anything you can freeze is fair game. gatekeepers in 9x when you can only hit them like 30% of the time is the best example i got. sounds fun to me. i dont have so much to go on here cuz i went fighter XD
Stunning CGs with 1 damage and poking things with Ice Charge for 1 damage certainly constitutes as fun. Seriously. Also, BanHammer, enough said.
This is such a hard decision :hothead:
I'm leading towards fighter, and why is it a bad idea that I stay axe? Will it really affect me that much?
Axes are slowr and weaker, but it doesn't really matter that much unless you're obsessed with damage. The cheaper scroll prices really can't make up for the damage gap (when you have to buy 30 scrolls for 200k each, it outweighs buying 1 scroll for 2mil, and whenever I've looked at scrolled item prices, equal power favours the sword in cost)
Ok well, he has 3 final attack in axe, maxed axe mastery, maxed rage, and 1 in PG. Is it worth continuing on with a sword?
(Remember the fighter is completely unfunded, except with maybe 10k NX)
Okay, so, I just started a warrior. I'm level 18 now (progressing slowly; Hooray for questing).
There's not really any guides for warriors around here, and I haven't made one before.
Am I supposed to max out both Power Strike and Slash Blast? What about HP recovery?
Also, I want to be able to solo bosses when I'm 4th job (because I WILL get this to 4th job). I'm aware all 3 can solo bosses, or at least I think, but I can't really decide between Hero and Dark Knight. I know I'd like to get in earlier than usual because of Hyper Body but they're not as strong in the long run as Heroes?
I don't know what to do. :(
Doesn't sound like you'll get far, but if you really want to, okay. Do max out Power Strike and Slash Blast, as you'll be stuck with those two attacks through 2nd and 3rd job. DrKs can only be as strong as Heroes, maybe even stronger if you can get lvl 30 Bezerk, and a huge dose of HP to boot.
Of course, DrKs can't really be the damage wh0res they've always wanted to be when something consistently hits over 15,000 damage... *cough*PinkVynn*cough*
The only reason I'm going slow is because I opted to quest the first ~20 levels. I can train pretty efficiently once I get into the right places (worked with my other 4th job'ers). Also because I'm really weak right now, getting the base Dex out of the way.
Thanks for that, I might just go with Spears. There seems to be some pride among Pure Pole Arm knights, what's the difference between spears and pole arms, besides the obvious swing/stab thing? I'll probably be back in here when I get to 30. I'm gonna start noob-grinding now, I've completed all the possible quests and I'm still level 19.
