1) Players who own a work glove are banned? Or only if they bought/traded/found one within "24 hours"? I know a few friends who own a WG =x
2) Hopefrikin'ly this ban means only White Work Gloves. I currently own a pair of Blue ones.

I don't really hang out in the FM a lot, but the times I have been in it I was too busy looking for stuff than to pick up stuff. Even when people were playing a drop game around me (When that was still possible).

That is one ridiculous trollsome shoop. That's practically EVERYONE in the entire game who gets banned. It's not even correct: buying WGs to GAIN NX?

Yes it is, thats what they do, buy atk wgs and MTS them for NX. I saw a lot of people using smegs to buy 10+atk wgs for 500+mill and other MTSable items before Maple went down.

Having a work glove to me was never very enticing since theyre so plain of a color. At least Stormcaster Gloves were shiny. Not sure how I feel about this if it is true...

plus there's usually a "content blocked" yellow-ish bar that'd appear near the top of the image since it's missing nexon's image sh'it. fake.

While banning every account with just one WG isn't very likely, it might be possible they're going to ban account that have more than one WG's.

Well alright I somewhat see it now (still doesn't say WHERE they are getting the extra mesos from). In reply to the fact people were buying 10 atk WGs for 500m, it seems insanely counterproductive by paying such a ludicrous amount of mesos. The NX ratio is already IDon'tKnowHowHighItIsNow (how high was it before the meso exploit arrived?). That's just destroying the game right there.

post the whole thing, but do what i do and block out the tabs in an image editing program. cant tell you how many times ive posted a screenshot of something and had to block out sh'it i dont want getting out i have.

It's probably just a troll. I mean, wgs werent the only thing bought.

Also says "within the last 24 hours," so even if it was true, only those who had gotten WGs in the last 24 hours would be banned. o.o

Dear Maplers,

Today at 2:30 PM Pacific we reopened the game after a long maintenance to remedy a meso exploit threatening the Maple economy. Unfortunately, soon after the game reopened another exploit was discovered that introduced unhealthy amount of mesos into the economy through Free Market, forcing us to bring down the game servers again at 5:45 PM, Pacific Time.

As you already may know, introduction of such mesos have damaging effects on the game economy such as raising the cost of your in-game items, which is why we have made the difficult decision to restore the MapleStory servers to an earlier state: Monday, November 8, 3 AM Pacific (6 AM Eastern). This is 12 hours prior to the first restore point. Please understand that this measure is our best solution against the exploited mesos to minimize its crippling effects. We know you will not be pleased about this decision and we understand those of you who logged in during the time will be greatly disappointed to lose your efforts.

We will do our best to ease the change by performing the following:

* 5,000 Maple Points to players who logged in between 3 AM – 3 PM Pacific (6 AM – 6 PM Eastern) on Monday, November 8.
* 5,000 Maple Points to those who logged in between 2:30 PM - 5:45 PM Pacific (5:30 PM – 8:45 PM Eastern) on Wednesday, November 10.
* NX spent during mentioned times above will be refunded in the type originally spent.
* All Cash items will be extended by 72 hours.
* Compensation events will be posted within the next 24 hours.

The game will reopen at approximately 7 AM Pacific (10 AM Eastern) on Thursday, November 11.
Please accept our sincerest apology and know that we will work through the night to ensure safe and timely reopening of MapleStory.
