is the chaos scroll only use-able on agent items or on all equips? i know its untradeable and expires.

The one you get from this event is only use-able on Agent equips.

&, I'm confused. So for all the items except shoes, the '5th' item is slightly better and doesn't expire right? Are the 5th items tradable or untradable? Thought I read somewhere that they were tradable but it says they're untradable here?

You have to do the quest 5 times (the gloves 10 times) to get the version that doesn't expire. That's all it means.

I'm pretty sure you can get as many as you want per character and per account.

Ohhh the perma earrings are tradeable? then can I do it on a mule and then transfer through storage?

Oh, well if that's the case, deflation will happen... on gloves and earrings at least. If you can keep redoing them and keep getting new equips you get a chance to scroll a godly glove (even if it's untradable) and godly earrings (even better if they're tradable)

Well, the earrings are pretty easy to get. But it takes 50 hours to get a non-expiring version of the gloves so they might not deflate as much as the earrings will.

10 x 30 mins = 300 minutes = 5 hours = 1 glove
5 times = permanent glove = 5 x 5= 25 hours, why do people keep saying 50 hours? o,o

Because it's 100, not 50, isn't it?

It takes 10 times before you even get the permanent glove.

In patch notes ( http://maplestory.nexon.net/WZ.ASPX?PART...ntNo=005NK ) it says that the agent equips are usable till september 9th? Does that mean Global MS will not be having perma earrings and gloves and such?

We will only know after the patch is done.
