Hello guys. I'm VictorGS. I would like to explain how the event "Maple Secret Service" works on KMS.
First, when you're level 10, you start any quest of the Event, and you'll have a "Maple Secret Service Shoes". They give +2 To all stats and expires in one month.
Spoiler
I know. I pwned my shoes. xP. Chaos Scroll <3.
Then, there are lots of quests to do.
The first one, and loved one for levels 30+, is the Pink Tube one. However, everyone says this quest is pretty annoying.
Maple Administrator and the Pink Tube, Level 10. (Repeatable)
Spoiler
Talk to the Maple Admin in every town. She'll ask you to get 5 Watermelons and give them to the "Agent W", he is located at the Maple Service Secret Base.
Talk to her again, click the second option, and you'll be transported to a look-like Korean Folk Town place. This is much likely a Jump Quest. You have 3 minutes to get on the top, break the Watermelon and talk to the Agent W to get out of the map. As the 3 minutes passed, you'll be kicked of the map. However, the most annoying part is because of the Hogul that spawns there, you gotta pass them to get to the Watermelon. If they hit you, or even "Miss" you, you'll be kicked of the Map. They are invincible (999 Avoid).
Finally, when you have the 5 watermelons, talk to the Agent E, and choose the second option. You'll go to the Maple Secret Service Base, and talk to Agent W to finish the quest.
Rewards: +10000 EXP
When you're going to get the reward, the Agent W will ask what kind of tube you want. It depends of classes:
If you're a Pirate, you can get:
Either a Pink Tube (Knuckle)
Or a Pink Tube (Gun).
The average is 67 Attack, you can get 64~70 of attack. It has +3 to all stats. This Tube expires in 7 days. This tube is better than a level 70 Knuckle. o-o
In need of Body Reports, Level 10~30. (Repeatable)
Spoiler
Begin this quest by talking to the Agent E in every town.
You'll need 20 Reports (Yellow ones), which drops the monsters by level 1~30.
Rewards: +800 EXP.
In need of Body Reports, Level 31+ (Repeatable)
Spoiler
Begin this quest by talking to the Agent E in every town.
You'll need 20 Reports (Blue ones), which drops the monsters by level 30+.
Rewards: +8500 EXP.
Agent E Request. Level 10+.
Spoiler
Begin this quest by talking to the Agent E. To finish this quest, you will need to do an event quest, such as the Cassandra Quiz, Maple Administrator and The Pink Tube (just one Watermelon) or I need of Body Reports quests. (Thanks Isaac and Shrapnel!).
Rewards: MSS Gift Box.
The Gift Box can give: (Random)
+2 Elixir
+2 Melting Cheese
+3 Watermelons
+1 Chaos Scroll
(There are other rewards, this is what it gave to me for now)
The Chaos Scroll is untradeable and expires.
In needed of Party Scrolls, Level 10+.
Spoiler
There is no begging in this quest. In each Party Quest, monsters will drop scrolls (), you'll gotta have them to the Agent C in the exit of the PQ.
Rewards: EXP (Depends of PQ)
And a Earpiece. Can have either +2 Dex or +2 Luk. It Expires.
The one that never expires, gives +2 Dex and +2 Luk. (Random)
It's an Earring.
BossHunter PQ.
Spoiler
The Boss Hunter PQ. To enter, talk to Gaga (Known as Agent G) in every town. He will send you to a Perion-Themed Place. There are two NPC's, which are the same, the Cat Agents (Known as Agent N). The left one is for solo. The right one is for BPQ (3~6 People). They have three options:
- Go inside the BPQ.
- Check the Boss Points.
- Exchange BP for an Earpiece.
One of the best EXP. As people may know, like Isaac said, they nerfed it, so the exp you get is just for bosses (Was added in the 1.2.60 patch). However, now it gives little experience. Before, it gave 800+ Exp, now it gives 10+, the stronger the boss is, the experience and Boss Points goes up.
When you get to 200 Points, it will give out another Earpiece, which is a hat, it gives +2 to all stats and +5 HP, untradeable, and expires.
The one that never expires, gives out +3 to all stats, +10 HP. It is untradeable too. You win them when you get 1000 points (5th try) (Confirmed by Shrapnel)
Fortune Teller Quiz! What do you know About MapleStory?, Level 10.
Spoiler
Talk to the Fortune Teller to begin. It's a quiz that you gotta name Potions, Etc items and Monsters. Each question you answer correct, you will have one point, this quiz gives the MSS Overall once you have a certain amount of points accumulated. On 1000 points, you get the permanent Overall.
Agent O Request. Level 10+
Spoiler
To start this quest, talk to Agent O in MiniDungeons, the maps that has a timer on it (Except for Coolies). Like in Henesys, Ariant.. Etc. He will ask to go to a Mini Dungeon, you will win a buff, either +40 Speed or +20 Jump, it's randomly, stay in the map till the buff ends (30 Minutes), and a box will appear, destroy it, and it will drop a thingy with an "A" in it. Give that to Agent O.
Reward: +EXP (Depends of Minidungeon).
When you do this quest ten times, you get an MSS Glove. It gives out +2 Attack, +15 HP 4 Slots (The first one). (Thanks Shrapnel!)
There are another NPC's, like with the Agent W, there's an Agent P, which tells you:
- How many A thingys you collected
- How many PQ Scrolls have you collected
- ???
- Total Boss Points in BossHunterPQ.
Spoiler
For now, that's it. I hope i helped. Credits to Isaac and Shrapnel for a little bit things.
By the way, I'm not sure about the name Maple Secret Service, or any names of the quests. I just made them lol. :]
A few things:
you quest "?????", it requires that you do Agent O's quest. Once you do it you can go back to her and get the box. I got 3 watermelon use items from it...
Also, I don't remember a Secret Service glove. O_o
Otherwise yeah, nice job.

That's not right. Each day you get a new mission from Agent E asking you to do a certain quest for her. You'll either be asked to do the minidungeon quest, the watermelon quest (only collect one watermelon), score 50 points on Cassandra's Speed Quiz, or the quest where you collect 20 papers.
The first gloves, if I remember correctly, are +2 att +15 HP with 4 slots. I'm not sure about the other gloves yet though.
Edit: Also, for the Boss PQ, you get the non-expiring helm every 5 exchanges.
For the permanent glove you have to do the quest 100 times and it gives 3 attack and some amount of hp which I forget. Thats 3000mins of hanging in mini-dungeons...

By the way, anyone found monster book cards on the boss pq? D:
Nope, well at least, not from bosses. I found some Slime Cards from the slimes that king Slime summons when he dies.
(could I have said Slimes any more times?)

D:I seriously think there should be a D: smily...
Only way to get them is the anniversary then!? It's not fair! I'm the colector kind, and this makes me feel... incomplete
IsaacGS Wrote:While it is disappointing, it's not like you could complete the monster book anyway. Gonna get all 5 Horntail cards? How about Pink Bean?
What is the point of the monster book anyway? Is there like an amazing reward for completing it, or is it like an in-game droplist or what?

The point is that I'd get the horntail card from the anniversary (if it's availible...) And since it must be worth around 500k leaves, I'd be poor by the 5th D:

... Wait, am I even able to carry 500k etcs?...
Depends.
Default beginners have 6 rows of 4 slots. After expansions, you can get to 25 rows. 25 rows of 4 means 100 slots.
If you can hold 1000 leaves in a slot, it'll be possible. Hard, but possible.
ahoboandahal Wrote:What is the point of the monster book anyway? Is there like an amazing reward for completing it, or is it like an in-game droplist or what?
The point is to provide a list backstory for every monster, provide an official drop list, a method to obtain *some* stats from in game, and just another thing to do. I doubt anyone knows if something happens when you complete it, because no one has and new monsters are being added all the time, so even if you did beat it in the next patch there'd probably be a dozen new monsters to collect, and 5 more cards for each of them...
You also get a 15% EXP boost off that particular monster once you have all 5 cards (though it only lasts for an hour.)

you would need to be around level 150, even if it did let you buy Horntail cards, which I doubt.

So where's Professor Oak and his Monster Card Holder?(Mapledex?)
