Creation or Evolution?
#81
Hazzy Wrote:Well, in those cases, we couldn't get the information, while in this case there is no information to get. Regardless of what happened before the Big Bang, our universe would still turn out the same, thus we can't tell what happened.

If the string theory is correct we can look at other dimensions/universes one day and perhaps look at the pattern in progress and maybe get some answers. Of course this sounds like impossible magic but so did the idea of sending satellites to the planets in the solar system at one point.

We can't be close minded and just say "its impossible."

Sure, we can look at other dimensions. We can get an idea of what it was like before the Big Bang, if it had any notable difference, but we still won't know what exactly existed before hand.

Its possible that the information does not exist, but its also possible it does.

There is still so much we don't know. Thats the beauty of science.

I am imagining space around it.
However....
Space sorta kinda has substance into itself...
Soo...
*mind explosion*
...
Anyways...
That still leaves infinite expansiviness of the universe to blow my mind.
...
INFINITE=boom
A FINITE UNIVERSE= 2x boom

Creation.
ex nihilo nihil fit.

Like saying apples or oranges when there are bananas around...

There are other theories (not necessarily scientific theories, but theories as a layman would use it), believe it or not.

BOTH! chain reaction theory. God did something and it caused all this.

There are other theories but those other theories are both unscientific and does not affect American politics.

"Scientific" and "affects American politics" are not the threshold for discussion in this thread. Claiming so is rather arrogant, both in that claiming scientific theories are the only ones worthy to be discussed and in that only anything affecting American politics (not just politics, which I would have also objected to, but only American politics) should be discussed.

How is bringing any sort of politics invalid?

There are countless theories not brought up because they are irrelevant to our real life issues.

Creationism and Evolution have been argued in our courts, town halls, and public squares for over 100 years. These two systems are the things that affect the public in mass.

Its like when someone asks an American whether they are a Republican or Democrat, do you call the question arrogant for not bringing up the communist party?

Well considering the communists party HEFTY causes in US history...
Yes.
If we are having a FULL, through, discussion. I would expect to hear about communism.
Quite a bit.
Lots of policy is affected by it.Tongue
