Meso Issue & Resolution

Hooray for not having played since Monday morning. It seems like it's always a good idea to drop everything you're doing when this type of stuff happens and just not play the game.

I'd like an extension of the Witch stew event, but otherwise this seems like the best way to do things.

I haven't played since Sunday either. When meso hacks get public, the only resolution is to roll back to before they were public. There's nothing else reasonable Nexon can do. If they banned all the hackers and wiped 100% of the mesos on the server (on every account), would anyone be happier?

Instead I did what it seems so many others have, dropped everything when I even heard mentions of a mesos exploit and decided to take a few days off til everything blew over.

I'm pretty sure it lasted 4 weeks last year. This year was roughly 19 days, if you include the rollback.

But a lot of people got their items on Monday and now los tit all. It's the same thing with the ring event.

Especially the Olivia chair. Since the event was glitched so long (first the missing NPC's, then the keys and dolls not dropping), I expect quite a lot of people got the chair Monday or Tuesday.

Tokens are less serious but I still would like to be able to use my last ~500 tokens somehow. (Although the Perion Malady might just still be there after the maintenance, with no special treatment, since she appeared way before the event activation as well).

And Vega scrolls... surely Nexon would like to give people who bought them after 3PM Monday, another chance to spend that NX?

I have no idea about coding or anything concerning how they would compensate everything, but pretty sure it's not that simple to address a million+ players, the game is up 80-90% of the time, whats a couple more hours of downtime anyways?
