Wind Archer and Thunder Breaker first job were both incredibly boring, second job however:
Wind Archers have good second and third jobs. Nothing too exciting, but playable and very efficient.
Thunder Breakers suddenly become extremely interesting in second job. The shark > wave > flash combo is so fluid. Way much more fun than I was expecting. The addition of Knuckle Booster makes everything less painful! can't imagine how fast this is going to be with speed infusion. wow.
The mobility skill that all Cygnus Knights get is ridiculously good.
2nd job Wind Archer so far, really liking the class.
Tried out TB skills on an old character, and wow. The skill-chaining is so fluid, I think I'm really going to like the class once I figure out how to play it correctly.
I am pleased to announce that the game has not crashed on me yet today, when it was crashing a lot during my daily Ambition Lich/Riche hunts when changing channels.
I have the same problem... and even worse, its my laptop monitor that's not working with it. I feel like it should work since its the same aspect ratio.
I thought it could get no worse than the alien expansion, but I was so wrong. If the alien expansion was the death of Masteria, then the KMS theme dungeon is the violation of its lifeless corpse.
I've just entered the Ellienel Academy dungeon. Love the art. It looks so magically awesome.
Hard Magnus does not work.
It sounds like you're implying that bosses are f'ucked because of potion pot which i find hilarious because yeah, leaving bossing squads at a stand still for months taking away their profits and their motivation to play while making those items somewhat widely available through NX is a great idea. Let's just sit on our asses for the entire summer and not be able to get the items we should be getting and selling them during the longest peak season in the year (which is now over). Just because potion pot makes it "easy"? Ok.
I find 3rd job Wind Breaker to be...almost awkward. The ability to go into Monster Park and do other stuff other than one-shot noob mobs makes it so spamming the 2nd job cape attack isn't worthwhile (because of the mob moving factor), plus the shiny new keydown skill. However, part of 3rd job involves Triffling Wind II and an attack speed boost in Albatross...neither of which affect the keydown skill. And that 1v1 attack...is just made of fail.
It's not a bad class though. The keydown skill on its own is good damage, and Albatross does also give a crit rate and weapon attack. XD
I kept getting the feeling there was something missing from this patch, something we have grown accustomed too, something we get every patch...
Oh, there was no unscheduled maintenance.
I'd just like to commend Nexon on this patch. It was a fairly big one (3 whole class revamps, 3 new theme dungeons, widescreen resolution) and the patch was finished early, lots of bugs were fixed, and there was no unscheduled maintenance. The game seems pretty stable right now.
Well done Nexon.
Don't speak too soon, GAZED and Windia (not sure about other servers) have had channels crashing all night, channel 1 in GAZED has gone down at least 7/8 times since yesterday, it started around 6pm GMT I think :/
Still though, I was expecting more issues =P I am anticipating an unscheduled server check at some point if the crashing continues, it's been somewhat stable for the past couple hours at least.
You can stuff Wind Walk into a macro and fly nearly indefinitely, pretty fun.
Edit: In case anyone is wondering what Andy's Mastery Book does.
Play around with a couple settings on your video card driver interface:
1) Try changing the GPU Scaling setting. Change it from its current setting (on or off) and then try to go full screen.
2) Try turning off/on Maintain Aspect Ratio. Ideally you want it on if you have a 16x10 monitor, but it may be preventing you from going full screen. You definitely don't need it on if you are using a 16x9 monitor.
3) This is a trick that works in most video card setups. When your monitor is using its native resolution, the driver often shuts off the ability alter screen scaling. You can turn it on by a) changing your resolution NOT to match the native mode, then b) apply it. Then c) change the scaling settings the way you want them and Apply. And finally d) set the resolution back to the monitor's native size. (The scaling options will often grey themselves out or disappear again, but whatever setting you used last will be saved.)
This is all easiest with an ATI card, but it is done very similarly on nVidia and Intel graphic interfaces.
(The other thing that can happen is that Maple gets fooled into outputting an improper frequency in fullscreen mode. I have had this happen on 2 PCs over the years and there was no fixing it.)
EDIT: Most of this only works if you are connected using a DVI connection. If you use VGA or HDMI, the only thing above that might be available to you is the GPU Scaling setting. The rest are DVI-only.
Wow i have lots to say in my opinion:
Cygnus revamp: Dawn Warrior- I'm not that warrior fan at all, because they have basic skills and they are calling on my nerves but idk why, i wanted to play with this cygnus knight and i must say its fun, fast mobillity and the skills are cool for a warrior.
Fairy accadmy- Not that tuff Theme dungeon but it very nice, monsters are cute and the rewards are good compere to Mushrrom Kingdoom or Kerning Squere that for sure (3 all stat cape + 1 WA glove)
CWK theme park- Its ok. The mini games are cool and it refreash to see them so it's make it nice place. I'm doing the quests there with the attantion quests because all you need to do is killing monsters...
After all, 8/10 for this update!
You implied wrong. What would be the point in creating new and "hard" bosses / mechanics when the old Potion Pot could just 100% ignore everything? Potion Pot made Magnus and Chaos Vellum a complete joke, because the risk of dying was literally removed with how the system worked. Death Count means nothing when you can still auto revive and sit at "Death Count: 00". The point I was trying to make was Potion Pot ruined how bosses worked by letting you tank everything to the face without fear of dying or anything else.
Also, Hard Magnus still drops everything minus Tyrant gear, because you can thank hackers for that. The other pineapple ups are cause Nexon CBA'd fixing anything anymore.
Regardless, it was pretty clear the item wasn't supposed to work how it used to and thus it was fixed. If Nexon deems this change as "unintended" then I'll concede.
Somehow this patch fixed Demon Avenger for me.
Yay! Now I can play it without lagging like absolute crap when I use any damn skill.
