Life is just a huge pineappleup for me. It hurts inside to admit this to everyone, but I've been diagnosed with severe depression just over three months ago after I tried to kill myself by jumping out of my apartment window. Some days I'm at the top of the world, but days like today make me question why I even live on anymore.

You sound like you have bipolar disorder. What you need to do is focus on the good things in life. Don't focus on what you don't have, focus on what you have. Maybe today you don't have a productive day, but tomorrow may be better. Keep an optimistic view of life and you won't be as depressed. Also, remind yourself that after death, you can't do anything. You would be truly helpless, whereas, if you're still living, you can still change the situation that you're in.

The truth is, at the same time, while you have to accept that people will react to your decision to kill yourself, you don't want those regrets to bottle up in you and make you do things just as bad or worse. Likewise, it's not a good idea to just shove those regrets aside and suicide straight forward without making a firm decision of if it's actually worth it not only for others, but for yourself.

And please keep suicide personal, we don't want to hear more sick stories of suicide incidents where other people are injured or even killed in the process.

Keeping suicide personal is just burying yourself in those thoughts. There are two reasons for suicide:
1) Learned helplessness
2) Loneliness

Both must be resolved if suicidal thoughts are to be extinguished.

What I meant by keeping it personal is that don't commit suicide in ways that could potentially injure or kill others, such as jumping off a highway overpass into a road with incoming traffic, speeding in a car without a seat belt on and crashing that car into a wall to throw yourself out of the vehicle, or even worse, hijacking an airplane and crashing it into a solid object such as a mountain or a building. (Yes, the last example unfortunately actually happened, but the people responsible for that were intent on actually hurting people, not committing suicide for their own reasons.)
