Even if they made them buyable in bundles you'd have to buy ciders 1 at a time, since they don't stack.
All cures would be useful though. And NLC scrolls.
I'd prefer if they turned him into a real shop though. But I don't know if it's possible to have a quest-restricted store.
They would have made the other two stores regular ones if it was, and besides, there's a regular store not even 3 maps away. I don't really care about being able to sell things there, i just care about buying in bulk. NLC scrolls are amazing, and milks/all cures would come in handy too, but having to buy them one at a time defeats the point of buying from him in the first place.
I hope NxProse will make another Q&A before the patch, because I have.. a TON of questions to ask.![]()
Real store would be nice, but bulk should be the primary concern, we dont want Nexon to go and overexert themselves now, do we?
Also knowing them they'd probably just throw it in and leave the all cures glitched.
And we know buying in bulk as a quest restricted shop is possible from Alacaster and Jane in Lith Harbor.
Nexon probably doesn't use the same npc scripting language as Odin -_- it's not necessarily possible for them to do what private servers do.
In terms of Odin it would have been easier to do a shop than to make them able to sell in bulk. If you want to sell in bulk through NPC chat, you have to check for inventory space, make a proper text entry box to write how many you want, etc. for each item. Shops already handle all of that stuff.
1 less important thing... the numerical input is limited as a single signed byte. The max # you can put in is 127, if you enter higher it just overflows... so it's kinda useless for arrows.

Or, just have the items available as either singles, or 100. Or possibly have another selection after you choose the useable item from the npc to choose 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 of the particular item.
Another possible modification would be that you talk to the head Raven Ninja, and if you've completed the necessary quests, you'll have an option to move to their 'secret shop' which is just a different map with the one character as a shop npc.

Yeah, they have portals with item/quest requirements (not sure which, both theoretically possible), so it shouldn't be too hard to make it so you can enter their tent or w/e once you have the quest done.
Then again, why use logic? I doubt they'll fit it since it's not broken.

NxProse
Hey everyone,
Apologies for not being available the last week or so, had quite a bit to do. As we're patching right now, and some of the info is out there, looks like everyone is excited/scared/OMG/LOL/etc--always a good thing. Remember: high risk for high rewards. Details about the Guild-related events for Masteria and MV's Party Quest will be posted a little later =).
So, back to work, and good luck. Time waits for no one....
This is funny, what happened to this , because I guess aiming so each class has something meant the same classes as usual were wanted and that was pretty much it, except they needed 2 pirates to get in on top of the bishops/dks/heroes/se mules/NLsWill any of the new boss/s will be nice to mages ;)
Well, let's say that elementals will be handy. Also, the only class that actually can't go are like, Beginners. If you exist, and are within the level range, you are needed. We're aiming so each class will have their moments during the PQ.
Well, strong Bowmasters are needed since they get the only difficult stage >_>
I don't even get what's going on.Someone explain. :/
