My barbeque grill has a wasp problem. Going to take care of that later on.

The original nest got pulled out afterwards. It's kind of crazy how big it really is, and how many wasps must have lived inside the grill all this time.




At this point, with the nests gone, all I needed to do now was to scrub the grime and gunk away. Also soap the area so the nests' scents are gone. There were a good dozen wasps all buzzing around the plants and stuff. Interestingly, they didn't sting me or go chasing after me. I was able to calmly use steel wool and scrub the grills, and hose out any crap that accumulated at the bottom of the grill. Maybe the wasps knew they didn't make a home in the most appropriate location, and thus when they got the smoking eviction notice they all went

Last picture. Turned out there were a few dead wasps. I'm guessing it was from the smoking, because I'm sure I'd have found a whole lot more dead wasps in the bottom if they all decided to die inside. Decided to take a picture, because how many times in your life are you going to smoke out your own grill because wasps decided to live there? God my camera sucks at close ups.



Aaaaaand done. Obviously I wasn't going to do something of Something Awful redneck level, since I'm not even white in the first place.

It was still something to have the remaining wasps just buzzing around me and just sticking around. Maybe I overestimated their aggressiveness, since my first thought was they would go Afrianized Honey Bee angry on me for smoking them out and removing their nest right in front of them.
