Elemental Staves & Wands Known Issue

Sounds like SCGs after the potential system was introduced. The SCG became just about worthless overnight even though people have spent a lot of money getting it. This is not the first time that this has happened, and I doubt it will be the last.

The items you have today will absolutely suck in two years. That's the way Maplestory works to keep you playing, and it's unfortunate that things like this happen.

Kind of a big difference between something becoming outdated and the effect being removed entirely. The SCGs were as powerful as ever, there were just better equips available. This is more like if they had nullified the attack on all of them completely.
