Is this considered scamming?

i remember awhile ago back when ilbies were still pushing 30M there would be ppl Smegaing "S> tons of ilbies 5M each come FM XX ch XX and buy fast" and out of curiosity i went there one or 2 times and each time they just had subis up for 5M and back then GM's actually used to go to that fm and would ban the person if they tried doing this. gd bless the days when gm's seemed to care
