Meso Explosion Blues.

I think SpiraeaKozak on SW might be right, or atleast close. I'm just not sure if this would be considered outdated or inaccurate info. Anyways, this is what SpiraeaKozak had posted as a formula.

Meso Explosion works in a wierd way. The damage of a set of mesos that is exploded is as follows:

Min Dam per set: (Meso + 34) x 7.8 x Mastery x 50%
Max Dam per set: (Meso + 34) x 7.8 x Mastery

If you explode more than 5 sets at a go, the damage will be combined into only 5 values (or is it 6?). No damage is lost.

If you explode more than 15 sets at a go, anything beyond 15 will not be considered.

There also exists a bonus damage that is invisible. This bonus damage is dependant on the number of bags you explode at a go.

Bonus damage multiplier: Bags x Bags / 400

So, if you explode 10 sets of 1000 mesos at 100% mastery (spending 10000 mesos), you will do
Min Dam per set: (1000 + 34) x 7.8 x 100% x 50% = 4032.6
Max Dam per set: 8065.2
Ave Dam per set: (4032.6 + 8065.2) / 2 = 6048.9
Ave Dam of all sets: 10 x 6048.9 = 60489
Bonus multiplier: 10 x 10 / 400 = 25%
Total Ave Dam of all sets: 60489 + 60489 x 25% = 75611.25

If you explode 18 sets of 500 mesos at 90% mastery (spending 9000 mesos), you will do
Min Dam per set (500 + 34) x 7.8 x 90% x 50% = 1874.34
Max Dam per set: 3748.68
Ave Dam per set: (1874.34 + 3748.68) / 2 = 2811.51
Ave Dam of all sets: 15 x 2811.51 = 42172.65 (only the first 15 are considered)
Bonus multiplier: 18 x 18 / 400 = 81% (but all 18 are used to calculate the bonus)
Total Ave Dam of all sets: 42172.65 + 42172.65 x 81% = 76332.4965

So, essentially, you can do this to maximize your damage while saving mesos. Exploding 15 sets of 450 mesos and 5 sets of 10 mesos at 96% mastery (spending only 6800 mesos) will do
Min Dam per set (450 + 34) x 7.8 x 96% x 50% = 1812.096
Max Dam per set: 3624.192
Ave Dam per set: (1812.096 + 3624.192) / 2 = 2718.144
Ave Dam of all sets: 15 x 2718.144 = 40772.16
Bonus multiplier: 20 x 20 / 400 = 100%
Total Ave Dam of all sets: 40772.16 + 40772.16 x 100% = 81544.32

I hope these examples will tell you enough about Meso Explosion.
