I dont think many people know this but the word in the Bible for "days" in Genesis in Hebrew (the language the Bible was originally written in) doesnt actually mean days but literally means "periods of time" so for all we know, creation could've taken place over hundreds of millions of years for all we know.
typical catholic misconception.
humans didnt evolve from "monkeys". evolution of homo sapiens came to be from a common hominid ancestor. meanin at some point in the past an animal resembling a human and a monkey (we look a lot alike and share 98% of our genetic information) lived and some of them decided to live in trees some to go to the ground. those ont he ground evolved into humans. thats the really simplified and still not 100% correct answer, but close enough for a maple story forum. more in my class room next semester.
