I wish for jazz to become super popular.
Granted but you stop liking it and you just hear it everywhere and it drives you insane. You end up in a mental health institution, where you're constantly being checked so that you don't suicide. To make things worse, you're being treated/forced to like jazz, they place you in a room where you're forced to watch lovely film sequences while listening to jazz but whenever you dare start showing signs of disgust you get electroshocked. You actually end up being scared of jazz because of those mixed signals which makes the treatment stronger and more painful to you. Personnel thinks you're some sort of monster for not liking jazz and the nurse, who is a sadistic peach, makes your life even more miserable by humiliating and mentally torturing you. After some time you're finally 'lobotomized', and even though you don't actually like jazz (not that you're capable of) your response to it isn't outside the norm so you're let go. Finally you're released, but that doesn't stop your bad luck. As soon as you go out you meet with old friends who despised you for disliking jazz, they don't know that you've "changed" so they start beating you up. Deep inside you, you understand what's going on but your body can't react appropriately, you can't even talk to tell them that you've changed. They keep beating you up to the point that they think you're dead and leave you there, in the middle of nowhere.
After that you get rescued by someone who knew you and can't get over the fact that you disliked jazz. But he doesn't want to kill you. He wants to "take care" of you... forever. He'll physically hurt you so that you need to stay with him more and more time. At one point he even breaks your legs. You start thinking you're doomed, and you plan to suicide since any other way of escaping is impossible. After many months of torture and preparation you're finally ready and you go through with it. You take a bunch of pills and as you're passing out a miracle happens and police enter the man's house for no reason whatsoever and they find you. They call an ambulance and they desperately try to rescue you, and you actually survive...barely. To your disgrace, the overdose fucked you up and despite being conscious you can no longer move, you can't talk, you can't even move your eyes so you're forced to stay in the hospital.
One day a janitor comes up to clean your hospital room and he recognizes you. He's another patient from the mental health institution you were in that actually felt sorry for you, he didn't hate you for disliking jazz and just feels bad over everything that happened to you. Since he doesn't know what to do he just grabs your pillow and slowly suffocates you. You're still conscious and for some reason you feel terrified and anxious. Suffocation is really an awful thing that takes what you feel is forever, so you just lie there without being able to move or say anything... You feel desperation that you've never felt before until finally you start loosing consciousness and you die.
I wish I was more organized.
