Well, NLC pots are ALWAYS useful for hermits/night lords... Reason: Alchemist. 50% extra potion effect.
The sorcerer and barbarian potions heal 2250 hp/mp, after doing the math, for a ridiculously cheap price. However, you can buy them with a mule. As for the stars, not only it's SLOW, but it's also worse unless you have an assasin with maxed mastery... 200 less stars. I personally have only one set of balanced furies, for PANIC moments... like having to solo in apq.
Also, for total effectiveness, you need shadow stars, to waste 200 at a time, letting you have a nonstop supply for 5-10 minutes each set.
6 sets is an hour when maxed.
