Balanced Fury v. Cilbi - Derimed - 2009-01-10

I've always been under the impression that Night Lords like to have every point of attack possible. In my server Balanced Fury seems roughly as expensive as Cilbi, but you have that extra point of attack on it. It is rechargeable only in NLC, but I am going to assume you're buying your pots in NLC anyway. Also, if you have like 4 bil to spend on gear, can't you NX upgrade your storage up to like 30 slots, store all your furies, pick them up iwth a mule and recharge them back?

I've never played a thief and I probably never will, I am just posting out of curiosity.

If you have cilbis and want to change to Balanced Fury, be my guest. Unless, your a damage whore, no point in changing for one attack anyways. Not much of a difference but you can buy Balanced Fury if you think it'll help. Probably will add 20-30 atk..

I would normally pick C-ilbies > Balanced Furies IF Furies were about 15-20m more expensive. However, because of deflation, they're pretty much the same price. I'd pick Furies, because eventually, once Nexon fixes the 'glitch', Furies should be rechargable at almost everywhere. Thus, prices may inflate, although it shouldn't be too significant.

Same price, +1 att more. Get Furies. Right now, I plan to get at least 4 Furies, 4 C-ilbies, and the rest of my stars in Ilbies/Steelies.

Nexon would not fix the glitch, it's not a glitch actually, it's a "intended feature"

Well the chances of you going back to NLC just to recharge with pots is slim because you'll always bring more pots then needed. The extra 1 atk isnt worth the 5 mil you pay over cillbies. Like in Scania a 6 atk w/g is 13 mil, an 8 atk w/g is 35 mil..... No way would I buy the 8 atk w/g..... Also what's so great about furys?

I don't think many NLs would drag themselves back to NLC (unless they had tons of sets and VIP rock? o_o) just to recharge one type of stars. I personally use a mule to pot from NLC for my Hermit.

I've seen a few NLs hunting crimson guardians, and of course there are Nightshadows for the Hermits (they give out Raven's claws in the exchange quest as well, which is profitable to say the least)

In Bera a 14 att WG is 450, a 15 is 650mil. People do pay huge amounts for 1 extra attack... 5mil is not so bad.

Maybe not 30 attack stars, don't they have a level 70 requirement?

Yup they do have a lvl 70 req, which is why I suggested hermit not sin as a mule Tongue

Balanced Fury Stars have always been cheaper than Crystal Ilbies in Mardia. Right now, the price of Fury is ~40m, while Crystal Ilbi goes for about 85-90m.

BTW, you only need stars to last you 4 hours, which is enough for a 2x card and Horntail. After that you can go to NLC and recharge. IMO, it's pretty stupid to buy Cilbies instead of Furies.

So what's that, 24 sets once you max out Shadow Claw? Plus a couple in case you got dispelled, I guess.

I use 20 sets of Tobis in 90 minutes Sad And that's with L7, not even TT. I guess if I maxed out all 56 slots or w/e I could hold 50 sets and last 4 hours.Tongue

Well, I have 24 sets of Ilbies and they last me a whole 2x card and a HT double run with maxed Shadow Stars.

The only way that I find upgrading to Fury "useless" is if you already had Crystal Ilbies before Furies were released.
