Did Nexon really ban any innocent people?

F/P's are far from broken lol.

Thinking about ultimates generally, I'd assume.

All I know is that I didn't glitch, and I didn't get banned. As for all the people saying they're innocent, i'm sure some of them are. I know that some people glitched bigfoot and didn't get banned too since I watched one of my friends shadow web bigfoot and he didn't get banned.

I was temporarily banned and the ONLY thing I can think of was how I got my toe. I was in a party with an I/L archmage and they killed it with that freezing poison skill, or whatever. It dropped the toe and I looted it. That was the one and only time my character was near bigfoot.

Other people said that it might have been I was leveling too fast, but that really pisses me off since I only grind on 2x and that's the only reason I could level fast. I never, ever bot. And I never, ever went afk in the few times I did leech at newties as a priest.

It's kinda funny neither me or any of my friends have ever been "unfairly banned for no reason" before. Maybe we're just lucky! Like Nexon has said before though, the majority of players that get banned lie about it, to "gain sympathy from the community".

Again, majority =/= all.

It doesn't fucking matter if 99% were correctly banned, even 1% is far too many.

Funniest thing is though twice when going through the forest I KSed 2 groups of people with mist because BF was coming after me and being used to trying to KBing sharks with mist to get away made me do that and I ran away of course they killed it before I left the map

I know some people who got banned due to Nexon so-called BF glitch abuse when they're not even near it. Of course I cant prove that they never go near BF, but there's really no reason why they should.

IMO, Nexon just responded to a mass crywolf and throw a ban on those who levelled too quickly in their eye. That's why they're releasing 2 reasons, BF and leeching (as their safety net). It explains why they nerfed BF's experience for a little while. It explains why some didnt get banned even tho they're "abusing" BF, while others got slapped with a few days ban even tho they're nowhere near a BF.

I doubt they even have a legitimate way of identifying who did what.

2. Most probably don't log a ticket properly and/or get a proper reply.
3. They assume that Nexon banned for misconduct during that period for only BF abuse and that they were among those rough one thousand people listed for glitch abuse instead of considering what they might have done in the past - not necessarily any time near the BF bannings.

I have a friend, an ice mage, who was banned because he levelled too fast. He never touched bigfoot. He trained for hours and hours a day at Peak, I think, with a few partners (no leeching, usually no priest). He was level 108 or so when he started, and a few days later he was 118 or something. Yes. He gained levels really freaking fast...but he didn't do anything illegal.

@the theory on leechers getting banned---
This is primarily because at a low level (like if you're 105 and leeching newties), you leech *fast*. With HS, I can get probably 30%/hour with a full newtie party. It didn't have anything to do with leeching. The game can't determine automatically if you're leeching. It can only determine if you gain a ridiculous amount of experience ridiculously fast...such is the case with leechers. It's an unnatural gain of exp in a short period of time.

I know leechers who are perfectly safe and I know those that aren't. It's just a relative scale. Nexon set the bar too low. It was stupid of them, but few, if any, got permabanned for it. Thank goodness.

It funny how I cant seem to recall anyone post their ban message as "You were banned for abusing Big Foot" even tho Nexon claimed to have banned a bunch of people.

Nexon's support isnt anything to be proud of. Talking about posting a proper ticket..... many has, read around.

If anything, their timing is quite co-incidental. I doubt Nexon batch-banning list reaches a few months old. Venison and I refer to the same guy. We frequent a Gaia forum. He posted his progress up there. We even visit him at time.

Im not saying everyone got banned doesnt deserve it, but there're definitely doubts in many bans.

There have been times when innocents were banned by a glitch, normally (not always) if it is by a glitch, alot of people are affected.

I was at one time, but it was fixed a few days later. These things happen, and they suck ass. But I hate to say it, most of the time nexon is right.
