Slingers
All put in plural with "s's" at the end.
Or people will just use their normal names, like they do with Shadowers, Paladins, or Bishops

Buccaneer - Bucks! bucs, buccs, cans, neers...etc.
Valkrie - Valk seems short enough...
Viper - Vipers..vipes..? You'd have to be really really really lazy to not type out Viper...
Captain - Caps, or capts. Captain Crunch...
