So what will the new class abbreviations be?

Magicians - Almost everyone calls them "mage" by habit... well at least I do. ¬_¬
Assassin - sin
Bandit - dit
Chief Bandit - CB
Crusader - sader
Crossbowman - xbowman

You get the idea.

So what do you think the new class abbreviations for pirate be?

This is what I've got so far in my opinion:

Pirate - Pirate (short enough, really)

Infighter - A bit tough, maybe "Inf".
Gunslinger - "gun" would refer to the weapon, so maybe "slinger" or "GunS"?

Buccaneer - Most likely "Buc" or "Bucc"
Valkrie - "Valk". That's gotta be it. I'll throw a fit if it isn't. D:<

Viper - Probably fine at Viper, but it might turn out to be "Vip"
Captain - Either Captain or "Cap"

Personally, I think I'll use 3d job Infighter,4th job Gunsligher, ect. xP

I'll call Captains Capts, and Infighters Infighters. It's really straight forward, I guess.

Yeah "GS" seems pretty feasible. That's how it went with Chief Bandit. (but of course it couldn't have been called a "dit" for obvious reasons )

Gunslingers probably GS. Valks and Bucs seem like they'll be popular.

For 4th job, Captains will probably be called Caps, while Vipers will be known as WB (Wind Booster) mules. : P

I see it now... HB, HS, SE, and WB mules all in one party. Any room for attackers...!?

We wont really know until we get the classes listed but that being said, I agree with what's being said here.

However, if Gunslingers could be abbreviated GS, then what's to say that Infighters wont be abbreviated IF (Okay, its a common word but... yeah. Who knows xD)? Just throwing that out there for discussion I suppose.

We might even see Infighters abbreviated as Nfighters or something. Dx

I can kinda see VK as a Valkyrie, but I don't plan to be abbreviating such short words.

I think Vipers would be called VPs XD

and Captains: capt ........`n crunch?

I'm using GS for Gunslinger and InFi or IFi for Infighter.

Personally, most of the Pirate Names are short enough to just type out. The two that aren't have the coolest spelling. xP

I can see Infighter being Inf and Vip being Viper, but not sure about bucc. I Like Gun though and like PieM4ster said VK for Valkyrie works.

I see captains as cap'n xD and yeah infigters are named sayans

Ew, I really hate the shortformed names of all the classes. Sins, xbowmen, dits; they're all pretty ugly.

Don't get why we can't just stick to Pirate, Infighter and Gunslinger.
