LHC ultimate party setup.
#41
(All EXP values are recorded on a 1.5 card with 6 people person party including HS)

I trained at Very Tall Castle Walls. I could have gotten better exp at other places possibly, but I was easily getting 100m/hr which was good enough for me, and I didn't want to waste time learning how to travel a new map even if it was faster.

The range of exp I got was roughly 100~120m (what I was guaranteed ~ max I ever got on a trial test of exp) when I wasn't borrowing some friends gear, which was a max of 31~33k range. Everytime I did a trial, I used my dice roll and valued it when I rolled a 1, 2, or a 3 as a 4/5/6 boosts your EXP rate.

When my friend hit 200 and let me borrow his gear again, my range jumped to training with about 38~42k. My EXP rate then jumped to like 110m~150m/hr

At first we did 3-way and then tried a little bit of 4-way. We also kind of just killed anything that was in our way, almost no order. At the very beginning I thought it would be better to travel together, but we didn't do that until like 3 days after LHC came out, and our exp rate rose a lot.

In addition, I mostly used single attacks/siege with occasional laser at the beginning, but after a while, i switched to almost always using laser and just using regular attacks/siege when there was 1~2 monsters. We also started to switch to 2-way parties to maximize EXP.

As for myself, I put 2 portals on the <-- left side which helped the party and myself as we traveled clockwise around the map together. If we killed some golems on top and there were only say 2 left, and a mob of 5 spawned on the bottom, we would leave them and go to the bottom, and vice versa. I constantly stayed in tank and used laser/attack to lure mobs and let them walk towards me. Since laser has such a huge range, you can easily mob things together. When I go to the top, I would laser things to the -->, or I would laser/attack things while combat stepping to the -->, then switching directions after mobbing everything and laser everything <--. The bottom follows the same pattern except i always mobbed things towards <-- If something spawned on that bottom right platform, I would just move over and laser it, still hitting all the original mobs.

Besides portal on the left, I put Bots and Tots on the top, generally in the middle but you usually want it where you see things getting mobbed so you utilize it best. Finally, I kept amplifier on the bottom right, but kept it enough to the left so if I was on the staircase, I could still get amplifier as your attack range can hit the entire bottom middle.

Now for your party setup, these are my suggestions on what you should pick (Anything not mentioned is assumed to be leech mules)

A. 1~2 relatively weak people, probably in the 14x/15x range that can't really kill fast, but if they attack with you, you will get more exp since you kill slightly faster and their exp will be better since they just aren't leeching

B. Someone who can kill relatively as fast as you. As for a mech, you need another mobber usually. When I trained with my WH friend, we tried to use it as a last resort since I raped his exp as his WaB only hit 1 monster and by the time it was done, the other mobs I almost had majority on or like killed 25~30% of them. + SE was a huge boost to my siege mode and other attacks. Out of the few people who actually train at that high level, my best partner for me was a shadower, great mob skill + mobility. I never really fully tested B as my shadower friend only took majority say 20~30% of the time.

C. Same as B) except the person doesn't care too much if you rape their exp.

This video my friend made doesn't fully show everything, but it can give you a rough idea. I can get him to do one not as cropped and him actually following me if you want. Training stops about half-way of the video

My last piece of advice: If you don't do this already, get your party of 6, train for a little bit. Then ask a friend or someone to go into your map and afk, and train again, you'll be in for a little surprise if you don't know this already =)

sorry for the long quote.

I will seriously have to try this.
my range is about what yours was when you borrowed equips, so I should be able to do this too.
we don't have a lot of godly people in the KMS alliance. but the people we have are battlemages, vipers, bladers and mechs. we also have a bishop. do you think it would work out?
the 100~120mil exp sounds delicious. *-*

Devil Wrote:Problem: HS only lasts long enough for 2 mob kills (+some extra), returning to the center of the map every 2 minutes will cost a crapload of exp... I would say around 20% per hour...
if you can only kill 2 mobs in 1 HS, you need to do flock party, or not train at LHC at all.
your EXP gain can be maximized at Gigantic Vikings, if your ~2 kills is the best you can do.
