My fiance thinks I'm a little girl or something - Management - 2008-07-13
She wanted to wax my back (yes, I'm a Yeti) so I agreed to it. I have no use for my back hair seeing as how it's 95+ degrees in NW Iowa. She was excited in thinking that I'd whine/yell/scream in pain or whatever, and I mean like really excited. She doesn't know that I have like some crazy ass level of tolerance for pain.
So, as I'm sitting in the chair watching Family Guy, she's pulls the first strip and I just laugh. I didn't laugh because of the strip, but because Family Guy rocks. That's beside the point though. Anyway, I kind of feel bad for letting her down. How do I cheer her up after this catastrophe?

Not that she enjoys seeing me pain, but rather she didn't think I'd be able to tolerate it.
Apparently, every other guy she knows screams like a girl when he gets waxed, whether it be his back or chest.

Explain to her that physical pain doesn't affect you, but real pain would be:
1. if she left you
2. when you can't be with her
3. if you ever hurt her feelings
you get the idea. Take a bad situation and turn it around in an unexpected way.
