This "MS 2.0" is nothing really... - AltCtrlDlt - 2010-06-22 Eosian Wrote:It's all about perspective, and mine is quite different from most players. Just pointing out that I wasn't calling people stupid or impossible to please. When I said people were whining, I wasn't necessarily referring to you. It was my fault for generalizing, I'm sorry. I was stating that you weren't satisfied with what Nexon had shown us, and that maybe you would be content in the future. I'm just going to add one more thing, and I think you're right, as what I'm quoting is your opinion. It seems as though Nexon is catering to low-leveled, more casual players for whatever reason (only at the moment, however. Although I still strongly agree with Alloy, as the evidence is all pointing towards new 150+ content in the future). This "MS 2.0" is nothing really... - Eos - 2010-06-22 What exactly is created? Maybe, but the spot that was destined to that higher place remains for the same spot for now. You loose nothing at the moment. HOWEVER, it's clear that they don't want too many monsters of the same range now (lol, lv 130 zombies). Therefore, the most likely additions are high level ones. They ARE pointing towards that. Can't simply ignore that. Give them a patch or two before saying how they will never do it, because right now, they decided to simply give higher level content while they work on the other stuff, to keep us still entertained on that range. But KMST isn't implemented yet... There's really nothing to discuss about, isn't it? This "MS 2.0" is nothing really... - Eos - 2010-06-22 Exactly. Lower ranges. You're repeating my point for me. I've lost nothing, I've gained nothing. For me the only thing this changes is the game mechanics I no longer need to worry about. Just as the OP said - This patch isn't particularly anything for the established players. I've never said they will never add it. I've said that they didn't add it here. Just like they haven't added it in the past. This "MS 2.0" is nothing really... - Alloy - 2010-06-22 Eosian Wrote:Exactly. Lower ranges. Even though, the question is: "Time temple monsters are the same?" The answer is no. The sprites are indeed the same, but the mechanics behind it are totally different. Sure, you see the same drawings getting rendered in your screen, but the gameplay there is the difference. It's like saying that Super Mario is still the same game if you use the same sprites on Command and Conquer. "Look, a Goomba, I'll stomp on it... Oh wait, can't jump, oh wait, it shot me with a bazooka." (Little reference to the new Newties... Pun not intended) The stuff IS adressed, only in a different way, to keep everyone happy... Or at least attempt. The new mobs they just made are most likely for the new Resistance job, if the new high mobs aren't adressed yet, it's because they took all resources for all these changes for now. But denying they did something is quite like closing your eyes. This "MS 2.0" is nothing really... - Eos - 2010-06-22 Redone is not new. New is new. I've stared at those mobs for hundreds of hours on end, making them tougher or changing what I press while I stare at them is no different from me replaying another class in the same place. Again. We clearly have deeply different interpretations of this and neither of us is going to change opinions. It's not going to spontaneously become new to me based on your definition, and if you feel some sense of newness from it more power to you, enjoy it while you can, but we've beaten this subject well past death and it's time to let others have their say rather than continue circling the drain. This "MS 2.0" is nothing really... - Baklava - 2010-06-22 Has anyone ACTUALLY trained at places like Omega, Mu Lung, KFT, etc? There's so many useless monsters it's not really a comedy anymore.
