Well, according to one of my level up screenshots, they rolled back to sometime after 2:30PM PST, november 8th. It doesn't affect me that badly, but sucks for everyone else who's been training, bossing, etc.

I just hope Nexon extends the halloween event (please? :c) since we missed out on 2 days, roughly.

Even if had not logged on for a week or not sold a thing yesterday I would still be against a rollback. Rollbacks do just as much harm as the exploit, or more harm to some. Plus Nexon's "compensation and resolution" always results in a very poor restitution for what people have lost ,be it levels, items, NX or greatest of them all, time.

Most of the damage started on monday, that's when it became public and really abused. People are still getting compensations, though you may have to write tickets. I'm really happy about this though because we can rescroll my friends bow! Biggrin

wtp? i didnt even see that... are you freaking kidding me??? i spent 50k NX gifting a friend something for stuff and now i cant anymore??? god wth is wrong with nexon? why cant they give us back the regular NX wtffffff this pisses me off even more =_= And i cant use this in trade shop either can i? Nope.
That's the problem with rollbacks - NX isn't stored in the same DB as Maple, it's in a global DB shared by all the games, so it can't be rolled back too and they're too lazy to properly audit and credit everything the way it was.

Ok so... i have a job and stuff but i have to pay for alot of crap and barely have time to play or anything. Soooo 50k is first off all alot for me because i had to work 5 times a day to pay for everything and have 50 euro left. Second i have no freaking time to play on MS and they're gonna give 2x exp events well uhh Lolno thats not gonna work for me =___= and yea just... idk they should have done this earlier... i havent even been in the FM Sold Bought Got Given anything besides 48k NX to a friend the past 2 weeks. I hate this...

BTW: Training a White Knight with low dex unfunded is a pain in the ass to train T^T

FUD uh?

I know what Hime tried to do. But they shouldn't take their players intelligence lightly. It was obvious how serious the situation was, and it was obvious that the solution would be a rollback. So it would have been better for them to acknowledge the possibility of a rollback and to advice the players to either stop playing or play at their own risk. Closing the servers would have been even better but eh, didn't happen.

And I'm sad that there will be exploiters (the smart ones) who will get away with doing this if it's true that the exploit has been hanging around for a month or so. But eh... At least I have to acknowledge their wittiness. They know how to play Nexon into doing what they want.

Anyway.

At least I won't lose much since I barely did anything this week besides creating a new bandit. Hopefully I will not lose any kind of equipment when that bandit gets deleted. Tongue

So. Let's look forward to this on a regular basis shall we? I still don't think its fair that hackers can consistenly cause a rollback for legit players, or at the very least, cause them to be unable to play for 2-3 days straight at any given time. Is the shepherd blameless for allowing the sheep to be eaten by the wolves? I think not. Learn from past experience and fail less Nexon, thank you.

I still say they should just hax taxes really high for an indefinite amount of time to suck mesos out of the economy while banning, heck,AND IP ban the worst offenders. (they must know who in order to know how to hellban after all) Even add in a event that revolves around burning mesos for prizes. Passive ways to combat the problem.
