I'm not sure if this has been asked or answered, but how much HP exactly does an Aran gain per AP point?
it has been asked many times, since we have very limited amount of people who come here playing, and none washing their aran's that i know of, its speculation at this point. They seem to gain 40-42 ish points per level, which would be a good estimate for points per AP(typically points per AP is minimum amount, so you could expect maybe 38 at lowest?) and for mp they gain 4-8 per level, so loss per wash would be ~8 mp.
Maybe you could PM Ezkilla on the board here. They Washed 300ap and have 17,xxx base hp at around lv 170.
I heard that the Aran release is being delayed. Is that true? (no longer the 9th?)
Whats the dif in (7) slow to (6) normal?
I know 6 to 8 is 12% different.
6 to 7 is about 5% I think, but Aran skills are probably not the same speed as DK skills so it's hard to judge.
Well hopefully I can use my just scrolled 118eclipse to good use before I get a arcglaive or surfboard. And thanks for your help. Now I need to find some arcglaives in kradia.

Can this be an end game Aran weapon considering it's normal speed?
Assuming GMS accounts get an extra slot for Arans just like MSEA and KMS, do you lose that slot when you create an Aran and delete it, and then making a new Aran? I'm planning to get my Aran to level 10 and try my luck with the Amoria Hair Quest till I get the hairtype I want. But if I can't delete my Aran without being able to make a new one, I'll stick at the normal hair. =)
I currently have a 124 att Zedbug. How much attack would I need on a normal speed Polearm to match that? I have an 87 att clean White Mop, which I bought because I passed a 30% on an 86 clean one and then failed 2 more 30% and 2 60% on it and gave up. :f7:
Why didn't you guys consider Super Snowboards? Fast attack speed, 85 W.Atk, level 50, plus the bonus 20 speed. Pretty sick, if you ask me.

I "think" it works similar to swords and stuff, and 1 weapon speed is like 10~ attack

clean purp surfboard (Fast 5) (93~) is around 12x zedbug (Slow 8)
And pretty sure he said a clean arcglaive (Normal 6) is also around a 12x zedbug
So that 124 zedbug is prolly like 100~104 normal 6

It's not a constant w.atk, it depends what other gear you have and all.
On my DK, 124 Zedbug ~ 105 Normal weapon with Warrior Elixirs (174 vs. 155 total atk), 124 Zedbug ~ 92 Normal weapon with Apples (262 vs 230 total atk).
TBH there's a good reason people make a fuss over the Normal speed. I've seen Arcglaives up to 107 clean, which would definitely be better than the Zedbug. A 122 Arcglaive beats a mid 14x attack Slow weapon easily, so will basically any purple surfboard that's not bombed (110+)
I'm not good at choosing equips for warriors, therefore, could you please tell me what do I need to upgrade for my future Aran?

keep the str cape. your gear is pretty decent. i wish witch belts were tradable between accounts otherwise id both karmaing my 9 atk one from my main but its not worth the hassle, (my arans going on a lvl 200 account anyway for a 20 atk boost)
i found the best board would proly be a perfect base super snowboard at 85?atk, perfectly scrolled for 130 at a fast (5) speed. the dps u would have is just nuts. then again its rarity is off the charts as well
oh and does anyone remember crimson arcglaives require 80 DEX to wear?

the next perfect weapon would probly be a godly heavenly messenger with a speed of 6, and 90 base atk it could go up to 135. after that a crismon arcglaive if you can manage the 80 dex requirement to wear it.
i spose its all dependent on whether or not Arans can cwkpq. or people wanna use dex overalls and stuff.
Purple surfboard with speed(5) and 99 average atk is probably the best weapon... but even rarer than a super snowboard.
Arcglaive's 17 higher base atk makes it definitely better than a Heavenly Messenger. It's not like 80 dex is even worth 17 atk, let alone how much dex you'd need to add once you factor in dex gear (my Paladin has +64 dex for example, and I have a clean ZHelm and shoes scrolled for speed)
Sorry if this was asked before, but after maxing triple swing, combo smash, and 19 mastery, do you guys go body pressure or drain? And, please tell me why you picked your choice ( benefits ).
It doesn't matter. I went Combo Drain personally, because it saved a lot of pots. After, I did Body Pressure, then finally Final Take.
I can't speak for 3rd job, but unless you train at really hard hitting mobs, Drain will let you train potless through all of 2nd job. I got it to a usable level in my early 50s, and maxed at 58/59. <3
Got one in the Rush skill (I use it more for movement than anything else), and went on to Body Pressure.

For combo smash, is it "down + right + attack"
or "down + front + attack" (so if facing left, left)

So left would be 'down + left + attack', and for right it would be 'down + right + attack'.
There is a whole map. It's basically just like the first map of the Cygnus one. It has the 3 podiums at the bottom then I think 2 or 3 rows above that. There is just 1 map. Last time I looked there was someone on the 2nd podium but no one else in there.
You can do it in any direction. If you are facing right and you press left your character will turn to face the left then use the attack.
I don't know if this has been answered but how do you get that level 30 polearm (For Arans only)? On Basil it's a pre-aran quest.
From what I've seen and my personal opinion: not very much. I'd rather push monsters to one side with Final Take. What use there is to pushing monsters into both sides? It's not a good finisher, and you'll ruin your combo. Personally i'd skip that skill (or get it to lvl 10, I think full swing double and full swing triple is one skill, which leaves 10 points to Whirlwind)
I have absolutely no high lvl Aran experience, but would having those spare points in 3rd job being put into Final take and booster better than in whirlwind? (whirlwind seems useless...)
ok, here is a question, i have a 99 attack white mop(forget the str) and a 108 atk eclipse, forgot str aswell(cant log in and check atm). Which would be better? IDK the difference between normal and slow(7) so.
The Eclipse is probably better, it depends if Aran attacks follow the same speeds as DKs though. My 104 Normal weapon is about as good as a 111 Slow(7) afaik which is only 7 atk difference.

If it doesn't work on bosses, what's the point? I mean, I know that whirlwind skill is worthless, but isn't Smart KB nigh useless if it doesn't work on bosses?
0% chance of a monster with magic attack hitting you is really nice. Really really low % chance of a monster hitting you with a magic attack is really nice.
Not to mention arans power goes down way too much when dealing with 12 mobs. Enough where it goes below a monsters KB.
Does Final Toss work on mobile bosses?

Remember on large mobs you'll be doing a lot less damage, and with super KB you hardly need to do anything to keep them in the air (1000 for Chief Oblivion Guardians) so it's useful early on.
My Paladin would do well on stronger mobs too... the strongest Holy monster in the game I can 2hko at 13x (not counting Crimson Balrogs who don't spawn fast enough to train on). What's the use of Holy Hammer then? >_>
What's more important to max on 1st job - Combat Step or Booster? Or do you put equal amounts into both?
16 Booster and max Combat Step.
Like people said before - on large mobs you're doing alot less dmg.

i like the idea of mobs unable to hit me, and me having to WORK for it. (juggle, lure, keep attacking properly.)

When fetching combo medals do you need to go at 50, 200, and 500, or will just getting 500 net you all three?
Getting 500 will net you all 3, but you only need the 500 one.

So apparently you do trade in the rings when as you level, but if you level 3 Aran, one to 70 one to 50 and one to 30, will you get them again and be able to transfer them?
Is anyone going to make an Aran training guide? Is there already one and I just cant see it? Or just use the warrior one even though Arans train differently with different skills?

At which level levels does the speed increases of Polearm Booster? I heard a rumour that you get +3 speed at level 20, and that it's different in other versions of MS.
If the rumour is true, are there other skills which are different in other versions?

Say a mob or 10-12 Chief Oblivion guards, your damage goes down on big mobs so you can't knock them back easily, but with smart KB you can knock back the mob making them unable to use magic, and with body pressure they can't touch you either!
Guys what early skills get replaced by 3rd or 4th job? ...I really want to max final charge but I don't know what skills to sacrifice.

No skills really get replaced. Double/Triple Swing gets upgraded once at third job and again at fourth.
If you really want to max Final Charge you can take points out of Whirlwind, Final Toss, and keep Booster at 15/16.
And iirc, that video was before they changed Smart Knockback to be useless against bosses. If Smart KB isn't what she's ulitizing in the video, then you should be able to do that regardless of your level of Final Charge.
Unless the Aran is on its own account you can hit a lot more than pigs without ever adding dex :| And with no funding you're not gonna want to head to Stormbreakers early or anything (even Mutae are kinda a pot burn) so I don't see the point of high dex.

Maybe a silly question.
In 2nd job, it seems the fastest way to train is to get your combo up to 30 as fast as possible and then Smash the largest amount of mobs possible.
For 3rd, is it more like the 4th job videos I've seen where you just try to keep your combo as high as possible, or do you still use combo attacks like in 2nd? Considering that Fenrir is maxed much later in most of the 3rd job builds I've seen, I'm guessing it's the former.
Not really.
In 2nd job, smashing everything is only fast until you get final charge. On a flat map, final charging across the map back and forth is faster than gathering the mob and smashing.
In 3rd the fastest way is to keep your combo up but that only really matters once you get a decent level of combo crit.
i just normal wack monster + final charge in 3rd job even when my combo reach 100++ coz of the critical and damage bonus. i only use fenrir when there's more than 10 monsters with 100% hp in front of me.
