And Bishops are a support class!

Yes and I have played relatively high vipers not on a pserver. I simply can't judge this update until it's final. A lot can change in just a few weeks and a lot can change when it's implemented into the live server. All I'm saying is everyone raging so hard when it's not finalized for at least 2 weeks is a little tooo much. If this was final yeah I could understand. For all we know nexon through this crap together to see how it would do and react before throwing in a few more skills they had planed. A class shouldn't have dps to be fun which is what vipers were but still. I'll admit there's a few different ways they could have gone about this and I can name them now. Problem why NEXON felt they needed an overhaul is because they weren't set to post-bb post-chaos post-ascension status. Why it was so drastic I don't know. They did say "all will change cept their names". I don't know what to say honestly, I personally don't have much of a problem with it but what's one voice>.>
Oh how wrong you are..Quote:

Because they never knew what buccaneers bring outside of DPS. They aren't buccaneers, they're just maplers.
@finalization argument: If they intended to preserve the factors that made a buccaneer contribute anything besides DPS/buffs, they would have incorporated them into the new skill set. They didn't. This makes the chances of those functions returning before official slim to none. Therefore those complaining are justified to do so at this moment, because there is no proof that the root cause of the problem will return.
If you honestly expect any serious changes that will deviate far from this initial framework, you are a moron. I'm willing to bank all of the Buccs' complaints over losing iFrames and forced KB will remain all the way to the live server.
Of course you'll just make up some new s'hit to defend your precious company once the inevitable happens. Ride 'em, cowgirl. :excellent:
Isn't that what maple is now? Damage wh0res?
It's fine to complain but what isn't necessary is calling in the troops because it's still KMST. It doesn't mean they're going to revert the changes, it doesn't mean people will be happy. But what can happen is they can ice down the swelling a little by adding or removing a skill or two and changing %'s. It sucks buccs will never be the same again but what can you do? This is ultimately NEXON's game and NEXON's choice. Believe me I wasn't expecting THIS when I heard "complete" overhaul.
Where was I defending them? Don't be an ass and open your eyes for once. Never once did I say they're going to revert back to the way they were. My statement was plain and simple "things could change before the live server hits". Does that say they're going to add back everything they took away? No. Does that say they could change the %'s maybe realize one skill is useless and replace it with another? Yes.
Mercedes are a good example of such changes.
From their initial kmst patch before it went live in kms they had their HP/MP recovery skills removed, a snipe skill removed, skills being moved between jobs, new skills added, and multiple animation changes.
(They had 4 or 5 kmst patches for skill updates)

I'm guessing the update will be released to the public server in two weeks.
I don't think nexon would give a buccaneer and mobility skills if they shoot beams across the screen. You guys really have no reason to move now. Nexon idea is probably lets :pineapple: up buccaneers then make a pirate legend that does what the old buccaneers did but way better.
buccs have doublespiral and corkscrewblow. since corkscrewblow is non charged now, maybe it can be macroed too.

anyway looks like there are a few haters, guess they just have to quit their pirate then...its not like nexon has ever bothered to change anything as a result of "feedback"
There might have been a point to that if it still involved linking iframes. Only reason to do that now is to link the two together...but it's not like doing that with or without a macro accomplishes anything anyway.
I love how the response to an actually informed argument is always "just quit".
