Yeah, my mouse is very happy with that too.
I also like that the Monster Farm "friend" list has been expanded.
And the repeating quest that awards Gems.
And the Special Shop selling decorative items and useful items (got a 1 Gem coupon from it, base price 100,000 waru). Not too happy about it selling regular buildings at a discount - totally unnecessary to buy a building that's normally 5k waru for 3k, and it takes up a precious Special Shop slot.

In my opinion it should be:
Blue: Noblesse and Thunder Breaker
Yellow: Dawn Warrior
Green: Wind Archer
Red: Blaze Wizard
Black: Night Walker
Oddly both WA and Dw have blue colored atks (even if it is only one two (how did I forget the skill I use the most atm) for WA and thus looks out of place)

Blue attacks are mostly falling moon skills. Which kinda makes sense, since lunar light is almost always associated with blue. Other than that, our skills are mostly yellow or.. regular light.
As for windbreakers, they control nature and wind, wind's color is also almost associated with blue... so ye.
other than that, im pretty fine with our flash jumps having the same color. It sort of unifies the cygnus knights.

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
I made my Wind Archer and Thunder Breaker on Thursday. Got WA to 141 and TB to 45.
Wind Archer: I love it. The attacks feel great, I feel a great sense of control when I play it, thanks to Wind Walk. (I want Wind Walk on ALL my characters!) Also, Sentient Arrow is a great skill; I use it to lure monsters to the center of Link 3 without having to move. It's also great for maps where complete control of the map from one position is just out of reach, like Red-Nose Pirate Den 2. WA makes training there and other places like it more low-maintenance, but without the monotony of holding only one button down.
Thunder Breaker: Where Wind Archer makes me feel in control, Thunder Breaker makes me feel like I can't get to that point. I'm talking mostly about their combo system, where skills are supposed to go fluidly from one to the other, reducing delay. No matter how I try to get the timing right so far, the times where delay is actually reduced are seemingly random and I can't figure out how to get consistent with the combos. Otherwise, the skills are beautiful and I like the class; I just feel like I'm not playing it to its potential. (I started this after my Wind Archer was already third job, and there were times I reached for Wind Walk to make it easier to play.. and forgot I didn't have it. :f4:)

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
Finished riena strait yesterday, and I loved itttt. Awesome music, good quests and okay spawns(okay mostly being at the walrus blackwings part), and that boat part. Made me feel like I was playing final fantasy 3, lol.
And ellinial was awesome too. Was hoping the wings would be bigger, but overall it was much more interesting then mush kingdom. I hate picking up drops, and making it so only quest items are what you need makes it easier to not fill up and stuff.

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
How does one do the Tinkerer's event? I've gotten no quests for it, but I've seen people megaphoning that they're selling the shoulders.
-
Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
I like the patch overall. I really feel like with the addition of Riena Strait and Fairy Academy they need to move Mushroom Kingdom and Chryse to other levels and then revamp them so they're at least appealing to do, especially Chryse. Also I think it's weird that Thunder Breakers are Thunder Breakers when now they're not even that associated with thunder anymore.

You need Tinkerer Chests from the Marvel Machine. They reopened the event since the last time Marvel was around, it was giving out chests, but Yulia wasn't in game.

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
It seems like the potion and pick up buttons have gotten less responsive since the patch.
I've had way too many close calls in Evolving World.
Edit: And I've gotten my Dawn Warrior to 150. Bye bye Mihile. You're useless now.
Ugh..... no decent leveling spots at this point other than Evolving World or Dimension Invasion. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss Party Play LHC. At least I'm done with this character.....
Edit 2: lol, Tot just gave my Thunder Breaker free levels from 31 to 35, just got the quest to swim across the river from Fanzy.
Edit 3: I don't have 4 hours to spare to make use of Tot's 4 hour coupon, so I hopped on my Wind Archer.
I, uhh..... what? She's a bow user, but her primary damaging skill is basically Brave Slash with knockback. (Perhaps not what they intended, but that's how things turned out.)
Huh.

Dont worry whence you hit 3rd job youll be using storm of arrows or whatever it is called just because of how useful it is on small multi leveled maps and the ablity to "snipe" with it

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
And I think my Wind Archer is even hitting harder than my Thunder Breaker was at the same levels, even though my TB is the one with the Link Skills.
Must be all that WAtk she gets from passives and buffs.....
-
Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
^My Wind Archer was definitely destroying my Thunder Breaker in terms of damage. Albatross is way too good.
Just made my Dawn Warrior and got it to 40...
All I have to say for now is who the hell thought making his attack hit behind him was a good idea

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
Got all 3 kocs to 120.
IMO DW is the best one. The skill set is quite fun, shame on Soluna's ping dependency though. Really like the 1v1 solar attack. Although not as much as phantom, the buffs is still too much.
TB is quite hard to MPE with. Maybe I play it wrong. Skill chain is quite effortless and fluid. Hate the fact that the shark uppercut skill jumps, would be better if it ain't as the platform jumping while chaining with thunder is quite annoying.
Wa is okey. Least fun of the 3. Wind walk and the 4th job mobbing is the only highlight for me. 3rd job mobbing hurricane is terrible unless you're in a small map.

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
You know I'm happy they're making Krexel more into a thing.. but they seriously need to buff the EXP it gives. 2.1 million for a level 16x boss? You know in Showa theres a boss that has 3 forms and the first 2 give 7m and 8m EXP. Perhaps if Krexel was given an HP reduction or EXP buff since it has the same amount of HP as the showa bosses... Hell even Hilla gives over 5 million EXP for a level 120 boss.

As @schwer; showed, it's 11m now, per eye. And his daily quest rewards 7.5m mesos, so even if the exp sucked, 7.5m a day(24hr reset*) for ~2 minutes of work is well worth it. :B
-
Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
It has always been 11m per eye. The reason it's much better now is because NexonAM removed the EXP penalty when fighting bosses below your level. My Lumi is now super, super happy, as should all Phantoms.

On my typical exp multipliers (hs, 30%pend, 15%merc, 10%pot), killing two krexels gives me ~0.5% at 211 for roughly three minutes of work. Golems give me ~0.18%/3min, so krexel is nice for me.
At 200 it would give about 5% which is nothing to laugh at. Speaking of which I should start doing krexel on my merc to get him 201 for lulz

Ehhhh... I have no time for exp multipliers. I think it's much less than that at 200. BGB was .4% for me so..

11m + 8.8m + 3.3m + 1.1m + 2.09m = 26.29m
Which is 0.103% exp at 211.
At 200 it is 1.19%.
This is per eye.
On 1.2x family, HS, 30% pend, 10% exp accum, 15% merc
Grand total of 0.411% at 211 and 4.76% at 200. All it takes is 900 rep, 2hrs, a friend to HS you, and the exp pot which isn't hard to get at all.
Bosses are ridiculously good exp (inb4kms nerfs), especially if you stack multipliers. I'm surprised more people don't take advantage of them.

You collect on the order of 500 etc. items (and kill few enough monsters that this takes longer than the kill count) so if you have a looting pet and Giant Spider familiar they're fairly fast.
On a daily basis there are none, you go to the map, go in and kill Krexel. You can accept the quest for 7.5mil if you want (it resets after 24hr) but it's not necessary.

Ah okay, maybe I'll do that tonight then along with my LHC prequests. I've been running as many bosses as I can before heading to WG (HT, Zak, Hilla, Ranmaru, BG, PB) so I should probably add Von Leon & Krexel to that list, especially since VL has an additional ticket.
Just wondering if anyone knows...does the Zakum Additional Ticket work for Chaos Zakum too? Or will it only work for regular Zak?

also some places that didn't drop equips before do, like Monster Park Extreme.

Not everyone has the availability of using EXP multipliers. I don't and I don't aim to use them either, everything I do is just on 1x. Which was .4%.

I wish they adjusted the DA desperado's to be equal in NPC value to other weapons of the same levels... I probably should've mentioned this when unleashed was around but I only really noticed it during Cygnus Awakening.

I think its because the placeholder equips are working as intended and now drop as a random equip of that level.

God damn Monster Park Extreme solo is good EXP.
Now if only I could actually find some parties and get even more EXP from it.....

Speed Infusion + Thunderbolt + Shark Sweep is going to destroy Evolving World.
Edit 2: Ow, my hand. So much button mashing.....
But hey, you basically get 100% Stance while constantly linking the two skills! That's nifty.

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
ah where do i begin.. bleh, short post since i'm sleepy
first off i've transitioned to wind archer pretty well i think, the play style is growing on me and the mobility change from bowmaster is exhilarating. i also feel comfortable with my damage range, for once, but then again i upgraded to 115% boss and 132% additive ignore along with about 50% extra dex from rings.
to be honest i don't think i'm going back to bowmaster. this character feels much more flexible and i find it really fun to play.
i didn't make a WA to join a bandwagon kind of thing, but to play a character class i would be more relaxed with (and it is) not that i wanted to be better at something. besides i really love my knight's design too much to leave her behind

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
WA 3rd job arrow raining thingy is ridiculously broken for training.
TB is broken for training because skill spam without delays.
Other than that, not much to say. Gotta get my WA to 120 sometime in the next week or two, then work on a DW... I'm only logging onto my main these days to get the 300 kills for attendance check :(
Training has really lost its appeal for me with all the crappy party EXP changes (and soloing at Golems isn't feasible for me yet) and I haven't even hit 200...

I got my Thunder Breaker to 120 in time to get booted off from the maintenance, which I didn't know about until after I got booted off.

It's far less strain if you tap both keys at the same time rather than one after the other rapidly.

Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
Okay, so I finally got my Thunder Breaker to third job and am having fun with it. I figured out that what I was doing to cause delay was use that first job teleport skill all the time, since it has quite a bit of delay on the back end of the skill. Third job added two skills I could chain onto the two from second job and now I really feel the variety of attacks I can perform without delay. It's great.
Now just need to find time to get it to 4th..

I thought third job was the worst actually because my third job training regimen is C-2 which has multiple platforms which is not at all good for ascension -> thunder and shark sweep/jaw outperformed it.
4th job is the tits though. Shark sweep -> thunderbolt is SOOOOOO good for evo world.

Yeah, 3rd Job is horrible for anything other than flat maps. I ended up using Shark Sweep + Ascension instead of Ascension + Thunder most of the time.

I was overtly excited today to see that we get a stamp for participating in five days of the Artifact Hunt, since the patch notes did not say anything about it.

I believe it would. It worked like this for CHT/HT with the 7 total daily entries both bosses sharing that pool of 7.
Unless they fixed it between this patch and Unleashed though, I remember they broke Czak. Unlimited times per day.

The Evolving World nerf came with the Striker update in KMS, so crisis averted here. We actually didn't get any of the EXP nerfs that KMS received in that same patch.
-
Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
So glad they included vertical movement with the Cygnus-esque flash jump. It makes everything so much easier.
-
Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
So I got my Wind Archer to 120. Would have gotten her there yesterday if it wasn't for the stupid Evolving World spawn lag that occurs on Scania past a certain time of the day. Earlier on, new waves will spawn before I wipe out the current one, but later on, I get to wipe out entire waves before the new ones spawn, it greatly reduces the EXP I get per run.....
Anyway, having gotten all three to 120 (DW to 150), I can say that Wind Archer is definitely the best of the three.
-Tons of raw damage from skill modifiers and the copious amounts of WAtt they get from passives and buffs and high crit rate.
-Useful tools such as Emerald Flower, Sentient Arrow allows for tons of safe sniping opportunities and is good at getting mob aggro in Evolving World Link 3.
-Boosted dodge rate and 25% damage reduction on top of it meaning less potion usage, and you get some WAtt whenever you dodge!
-Wind Walk gives great mobility. Especially aerial mobility.
And so on.
-
Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
I feel like TB's Link Mastery should give some damage reduction because it's kind of stupid that it's a 20 point skill and all that it gives is 15% damage from linking. (Note: my complaint is not what it does, it's what it does for the points it costs.)

As much as I agree that they have far too little HP, in terms of survivability I've actually noticed the opposite to your experience, sort of. For some reason I seem to have a ridiculous amount of avoid. All I ever see is "GUARD GUARD GUARD," and I rarely get hit as is, thanks to i-frames. It takes me multiple hours to go through as little as 50 to 100 power elixirs.

I've noticed I get hit significantly less while I'm attacking than when I stand still. Another added plus to TBs' skill chaining is that it lets you bypass stun and immobilizing status effects (like Pierre's hats) and continue attacking.
As for avoid, I mean it's to the point where I can safely step away from my comp at Twilight Perion and expect to come back alive 30-45 minutes later. :monocle:
Edit: If it matters I have about 5300 avoid.
-
Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
Didn't know TB had invincibility frames.
I pretty much sit in Link 3 and link the shark kick and the thunder anchor attack thing... I'm too lazy to look up their actual names. Take like 16xx damage at level 142 with Electrify maxed.

Re: Feedback: Cygnus Awakens
