That doesn't leave much...
Well, um, I've noticed something. The Mighty Maple Eaters are plants, right? Maybe they're Krakians?
I don't know how to put it, but the Maple Eaters seem too... simple to be Krakians. They were sophisticated, if I recall, and the Eaters seem anything but that.
But what about the Beanstalk in Mountain Slopes? That could be part of a Krakian.
That'd be one TALL Krakian. And if you look on the beanstalk, there's like... mini maple eaters on them. ._.
They were normal sized, right? Not huge plants like the Beanstalk?
Also, where did the animals get their tech? From the Krakians, or someone else?
I've got a couple of things to say regarding stuff here :
1)Considering Masteria is in Versal, I remember reading about how Versal may run on a different time than the Maple World. (1000 Yr = 5 Yr). I was looking up some NLC stuff when I remembered the Temporal Fragments. I remember they say something about only being 1 second of time, and he needed 60 of em. I thought this was useless because 60 seconds wouldn't bring him back to the time he was transfered over here, so maybe the time for Versal is indeed slower, because 60 seconds could be a month or year in Versal Time.
2)I always thought it was be cool if they could make duplicates of the same map, but it was different if you completed a quest. For example, if you complete a quest that reveals Elpam or the Mayor as a bad guy, anytime you get redirected to that map where he is gone or something, as opossed to the old map. Of course, I know it's impossible, but I always thought of it as a cool thought. =P
3)I have a feeling the "Foxwit Den" is the museum that the Mayor said he'd build in the city. It may contain a time travel mechanism that allows us to go back to ancient times, as well as the future which I have a feeling will play a huge part in NLC. (Foxwit knows something about NLC. Something in the upcoming future that we should find out by time travel or other means. (I'd love to visit a ruined NLC in the future for an epic battle, kinda like how most places have a final battle in the remains of a castle or city))
All I've got to say. It may be incorrect, but I've been reading the thread at other locations so I couldn't post, and have been wanting to post for awhile.
What part of the thread were you posting from? :f6:
Everything seems to be fine, but since when was Masteria currently in Versal?
edit: flowers? When did I say that? I was just asking if they were our size. :f7: So where did the elephants get their tech?
1. Masteria *was* in Versal, but it isn't now. The temporal Fragments is a really good point though, I had forgotten about that.
2. No, it's not impossible, but it would make it impossible to ever meet people who hadn't done that quest in NLC then. I was thinking there might be a way to permanently alter an NPC's appearance along the lines of the Snowman and Mano quests but those changes are never permanent...
3. I would agree that Foxwit's Den is probably the time travel museum. Foxwit did say something along the lines of NLC having an important role in the future but I can't imagine it getting destroyed.
One thing I'd really like to see is right before/during our second Crimsonwood expansion, a massive town invasion of NLC by Crimsonwood soldier monsters. A one-time storyline advancement event would be pretty awesome. :p
Would these soldiers be easy? I would love to participate, but it would be hard if they are 70-ish. (Make them like the grunts, the cannon fodder, w/e)
maybe a war? the guild monsters invade town! you talk to an npc to let you into a war map(so people don't get killed afking in the main town)with a set amount of monsters that are scaled to your level(AKA you pick your level range)
The last piece of info from Ridley has been delivered~

Once again the thanks goes to Anyoneisgod, however Chaze sent it to me at the same time.
this is sort of interesting in many different ways. The Bosshunters are not an entirely separate group; they are more like an elite force made up of the best of all 4 groups. It also tells us that Zipangu was probably around in ancient Masteria times. The interplay between Zipangu and Masteria is probably one of the most interesting aspects of this in my book, it's rare that exclusive areas acknowledge each other.
Ah, I meant to say "was" as opposed to "is" in Versal =P
1)I was hoping you'd say it wasn't impossible to do something like that. I've always wanted things like this to happen for different circumstances, but I thought it wouldn't work because it'd be hard to meet someone if they haven't completed a particular quest. But still, I do hope something like this happens if Nexon has a way to make it blend in well.
2)Instead of a one-time event, why not add a PQ that takes you to a map that looks just like NLC, but the monsters are invading, and you have to hold them back. That way more people would be able to participate (and by PQ, I mean a Party Quest that allows more than 6 people. Somewhat of a large scale thing that involves the work of many maple heroes.)
well it might not happen for the town map but it could easily happen for areas outside the town, where being able to meet up wouldn't be an issue. An easy example of a place like that in game now would be APQ stage 2. It's not a perfect comparison but it's close enough to get an idea of what that would be like.
I like one-time story advancement events, they're fun and give the storyline a bit more linearity rather than just having everything going on at different points for everyone. Mansion was neat because it happened and then it ended, if it were still going on then it probably wouldn't be as cool. :/
everyone copied me ._.
i was theone who said the foxwit den was a place to time travel >:O
