Cubes have been pretty good to me lately. I had 4 Enlightening Cubes leftover from cubing my secondary weapon so I decided to use them on an Empress Shoulder. It went from Epic->Legendary in 3 cubes. I bought a pack of Super Cubes and got these stats.

Should be worth it for weapon potentials. Right now it looks like Regular Pot on Weapon > Bonus Pot on Weapon >>>> Regular Pot on Armor >>>> Bonus Pot on Armor, and tier up rates seem to be about the same.Quote:

I used 25 super carved slot cubes total and got 2 items to rank up from epic -> unique during the double miracle time. Not a large enough sample to prove anything though.
I used ~200 carver cubes before the 3L update attempting to get unique -> legendary and didn't get it. Haven't used any since.
Not as much as @Marksman Bryan; but i used 30 bonus pot cubes after the 3l update on my Essence and it didn't go rare -> epic. Pretty much gave up on that if the rate is that bad.
