It has been a while since we have had a thread here, but we do have an active Southperry DFO community, even if it is a bit small. For those who are interested in DFO the information for the game is below:
Southperry has an active DFO guild that recently got a 500 man cap with over 300 members from this community and in-game. We accept all members here and their alts, even if it is Fenix and his 30+ alts. If you are interesting in joining or coming back just apply and we will let you in. Before the expansion to 500 members it was tight so we did have to kick some alts and inactive users, so feel free to come back if that is the case, or apply on any characters.
We have an active Discord: https://discord.gg/8aTxMBw. There is also two more discords that our members are a part of if you want them ask below or in guild.

Heeeya all (been forever since I got back on SP thanks to DFO all day everyday). Figure I'd make a separate thread on if you want to say anything about the Cera shop that Neople just recently opened up. Thread title may change depending on how the thread turns out. So I figure other than Cera discussion, you can also go show off your dressed up characters or post the latest avatars for sale.

So to start things off, I'm finding the Cera shop FAR more fair than the crazy prices Nexon put up some of their stuff for. Using dollars as the standard, back in the day it cost $3-4 for the Owl, plus there was a cooldown of around 5 minutes or something. Now, it's only 90 cents and has a 3 second cooldown. I'd like to say more, but I'll end up making a mountain of text.

Biggest wins in my book: Account safe upgrades, inventory slot expansions ($1.30 for +2 rows and +20 kg), Owl, CLONE ADV pieces, Char rename ticket, far more reasonable prices in general.

Gripes: No Visa support, avatar pieces not tradeable (at least for now)

Additional thoughts: The mileage rebate is pretty sweet, considering it more easily allows you to also help in making a monthly avatar set permanent if you like the looks. I'm also really hoping that enough people are buying Cera to keep the game going. Free players keep the game popular and alive, but ultimately it's the Cera spenders that'll keep the game financially healthy.

The goal of this thread is to help organize groups so we can run dailies efficiently and timely. It is quite annoying to wait around for a quick party and have them quit after one run, or linger around dungeon entrances waiting for a party to arise. Furthermore, with this thread we can develop a stronger knowledge of our player's availability, which will be much needed come Otherverse dungeons. I am hopeful that with this we can develop structured and periodic runs for these quests.
Just in case you didn't know, dailies right now give Nihilistic Demon Stone Fragments and Primordial Cubes as rewards, the fragments have many different uses in upper level content while the cubes can be traded in for cube bags at Melvin Richter. I'm going to compile a list of all the daily quests in Empyrean and Suju, and Miscellaneous. Once we get further areas the intention is the update the list. Anything requiring a party will be highlighted in blue, and anything requiring a general quest completion to be unlocked will be highlighted in red.
How can we accomplish this? Essentially, post the character you'd like to run dailies on, level, and class. With that, include an "up to XXX dungeon/quest." Lastly, include your optimal times to run these dailies with days of the week and times in UTC. I recommend using UTC times because that is what the game clock goes off of, and we can cut down on any time zone confusion.
Once a lot of people's availability is posted, and with ample interest, we can come up with a spreadsheet of times for everyone to see and form parties. Given time and patient that is!
21. F-Striker. Casts Super Armor frequently. Approaches using Tornado Kick and Beat Drive along the X axis. Didn't see her do anything else, but I never got hit by her either.
22. M-Ranger. All I ever saw him do was attempt to hit me with Windmill and occasionally fire a single shot at a time with his revolver. Does *NOT* have the extremely high hit recovery that most of the other APCs in the tower seem to have.
23. M-Exo. Mostly spams White Tiger (they persist if you die). Will use Holy Amulet and Red Phoenix Amulet if close to you.
Will try to all use Flame Pillar from both above and below you on the x-axis, moving down/up respectively to close in on you. You might be able to jump over it, F-Launcher's Flame Pillar doesn't hit as high up as Male. Also use Steyr and Flamethrower occasionally.
25. Witch x4. 4 rooms, each with a Witch focusing on a specific element. Fire > Light > Water > Dark. Fire spams Halloween Buster and will cast Lava Potion if you approach her. She will never actually try to get closer to you, though, so classes like Launchers can simply safely sit far away and spam long-range skills. Has a Fire familiar that drops meteors, though she never actually used it against me. Light summons a familiar that spawns thunderbolts at your location and occasionally casts EMM and Florae Collider. Recommend not using summons in the first room or allowing them to despawn before entering this one. Water summons Ice Ball Louies (snowball yetis) and casts Acid Rain in addition to spamming Frosty head. Summons a familiar that follows you around dropping avalanches at your location. Dark casts Gravitas and Flyswatter (her familiar did not appear until after hitting me with Flyswatter, I didn't see it do anything in particular.) Unlike the other witches, Dark aggressively tries to get close to you to cast Gravitas.
26. Asura. Casts a modified Ghost Orb that has a strong suction effect and explodes at the end. Uses a few minor Asura wave skills and Wave Wheel Slasher as well, short ranged and quick. Note: skills like Extruder that root you in place for the duration block the suction effect of Ghost Orb. Abilities with a fixed movement distance likewise ignore the effect until they end. Use these to avoid getting pulled in if you otherwise can't.
27. Rogue. Don't remember much from this fight, honestly. Nothing really stuck me as unusual or extraordinary, I just remember her having fairly good hit recovery and trying to get close to me.
28. Rogue. Jumps a lot and tries to dive kick. Extremely easy for anyone with ranged abilities that can hit aerial targets.
29. M-Gunner. This guy has a unique style of attacking - instead of bullets, his shots create explosions at the target's location. If he shoots from the air, these form warning circles on the ground that detonate very shortly after. From the ground it appears to simple be an instantaneous explosion at the target location (rarely it will create the ground explosion instead). Also does a Punisher-style stomp that immediately detonates a large explosion in front of him - this one does significantly more damage than the others. Will use a modified Mach Kick and Headshot if you get too close to him.
30. I actually can't remember this one. It was a Crusader this week, don't think he did anything particularly noteworthy. Apparently every 10 floors minus the final floor is just a user-based APC. I have no idea if it just takes the class+gear and then defines an AI based on that or exactly how this works.

31. M-Exorcist. A very unusual Exorcist with a barrier theme. Has a few different attacks unique to him. He spams two in particular: one instantaneously creates clear shards at your location that hitstun you and cause minor damage (this can also apparently silence you), the other creates a rectangular prism that slams into you from either the front or behind, pushing you in that direction. He will use these two attacks to lead into his third, which creates a purple box at your location. If you get caught in the box you are silence and cannot move - you have to break it with regular attacks. He also creates 3 clear pillars in the middle of the arena - while these are up he takes massively reduced damage. You can break them by doing enough damage. Overall he is a low damage threat, but highly annoying.
32. M-Fighter. Throws a small, fast ball of energy as a gimmick attack. The ball will either go basically straight or curve at a small angle either up or down in most cases. He also frequently has lightning drop on his location. Much easier fight than 31.
33. F-Brawler. This cat is FAST. All of her attacks come out lightning quick. She'll try to Tornado Kick to close in on you - get hit and she'll chain into a knockdown and Mount and that's it for you. Also uses a really quick 4-hit Venom Mine and of course has poison blood that drips all over the place and can be threatening to melees.
34. Rogue. Invisibitch. Near permanently invisible and has some moderately painful combos. Occasionally leaves white "cancel" style shadows as she moves to give hints at her location. Best bet is to toss out AoEs to "fish" for her and watch for the hit indicators. In general expect her to try to get in your face while invisible.

I know there are probably floor lists out there, but it's fun to discover what each new level of hell has to offer...

25. Witch x4. 4 rooms, each with a Witch focusing on a specific element.

I figure with the other thread locked, here's a thread for general stuff that either doesn't fit anywhere, or is minor enough that it doesn't require a whole thread for it. I also list community discussion because there's bound to be people that wanna talk stuff about specific people or players.

I'll start off with something that's making the subreddit all up in arms.
http://www.reddit.com/r/DFO/comments/32h...assistant/

Rumor has it that a gold buying douchenugget got selected as Community Assistant (Community Manager?) by Neople. His fame was that he utterly destroyed the NA Elsword economy. He bought gold, buy expensive stuff from the economy, and then destroy it out of spite. Because he's a di'ck like that.

There's evidence linking the person, 1ld (1LastDance), with the one on DFOCore.

I'm definitely hope it's just a troll post, or a VERY elaborate poser, because god knows we don't need jackasses like this in DFO.

**I just checked the thread where all the drama started and apparently the 1ld dude got banned since his posts are now gone. Whelp.

On a more happy note, Neople is streaming right now on
http://www.twitch.tv/dfodanjun

Right now they just finished showing self-intro videos showing people from all over the world showing their appreciation for Neople bringing DFO back. Really touching to see. Now they're having some Neople peeps about to show themselves playing DFO using the Knight. Their English is surpsingly good!

Figure if everyone else is making one, I'll make this one. I got both a Nen Master and Striker to level 70 before DFO shut down the game so I got decent (although not masterful) knowledge of the two classes. I've touched Brawler for a bit, but only got him to ~45. I know that dowie got a Brawler to cap and even got a whole Chronicle set for him so he'll be your to-go Brawler guru. Grappler I'm planning to make soon.

Post questions about the sub-classes, builds, and all-around discussion about the male counterpart.

Quick and dirty differences from Male and Female subclasses:

What IS a Nen Master? They are a class that uses lots of electrocution and light damage to hurt enemies, while also supplying very good defensive/offensive buffs to parties. Short-medium range attacks.
Differences: The males are far more in-your-face, but still decent support. They rely on Tiger Flash and Spiral Nens as their bread and butter, which they get around 15-20. It basically makes them really tanky, gives them decent range. Expect a lot of XXXing. Female Nen Masters are more support based, with still very good ranged attacks. Males get a more instant, shorter lasting, lower CD Nen Guard. Females get a longer lasting, bigger, stronger, higher CD Nen Guard.

What IS a Striker? Take Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, any UFC champion, and combine them all into one badass mofo. Their attack range is usually pitiful, but they hit HARD, nuclear explosion hard. They get their own Super Armor buff, tends to run very high crit AND strength, and does damage that's very very competitive. The basic gist is get in the enemies face and unleash EVERYTHING.
Differences: Main differences lie in their awakenings. The Male gets essentially a transformation buff where his legs are on fire and he gets both cooldown and delay reductions, meaning he can spam his attacks even more. Females get a super strong single kick that's been shown to outright one-shot bosses. Males also get a Lightning Dance where it allows them to gather up all enemies in the room into one pile and kick them all.

What IS a Brawler? These guys don't fight fair. They'll abuse and rely on status effects to disable or hinder enemies. Bleeding, stunning, blinding, poisoning, you name it. Played right, your enemies will die from all the damage over time rather than direct damage. Their range is pretty decent, roughly close to medium range.
Differences: Female are more in-your-face, while males basically pre-load his dirty tricks and tosses from a decent range.

What IS a Grappler? If you like wrestling moves, this is the class for you. They are special in that most of their moves pimp slap the enemies from doing anything at all, plus many of their moves give invincibility frames. As close ranged as Strikers, but they tend to have a littler more leniency since they just gotta touch the enemy rather than have to be super precise.
Differences: Females use fixed damage more, while males use percentage damage way more. Females tend to be better at holding enemies in one place, while males are more about dealing real SOVIET damage. From what I read, Male Grapplers have bugs with their moves if they lag too much, so this class may not be friendly to those with potato internets.

I'll pull up gameplay videos of the Male Fighters when I can. For now, feel free to discuss.

Let's talk about Female Slayers and get even more hyped for their release! I know I'm not the only one very excited for this class. What subclass are you looking forward to? Sword Master, Demon Slayer, Vagabond, or Dark Templar?

I find both Sword Master and Vagabond very appealing visually and skillwise. I plan to make both!
