I found a data file in the installation location called Data.wz (see image) that was created and last modified at the time of installation / first character creation. Since it's not modified despite my customization, I imagine this is not the place to look. I'm just curious what this file contains.

My pc today have 4g of RAM, 1,6 GHz, it seens a i3 and with 4 processors, nothing extra, it's a simple PC to run maple and a few games, i bought before V-Patch so it was fine for the game, now the game got so much stuff that i think my PC is just trash for Maple.

Anyone know if it would help to focus on one processor? I remember one southperrian saying he did that but the PC was lagging after some time, anyone can help?]]>

So I came back to maple sometime around November prior to V patch on my new laptop and ever since I have been experiencing lag that I can't seem to nip.

So for specs I'm running
Processor: Intel ® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHZ
Installed Memory (RAM): 12.0 GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor

I use NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M/ Intel® HD Graphics 520

I also average at about 136 mbps.

I lag unbearably in the event hall to the point I get like 1 frame per 3 seconds. I couldn't even do Ursus today. It went from floating in the air at the start, freezing for 2 minutes, rewards of 0 mesos since I didn't get to do damage.

Thing's I've done: Reinstalled maple, repaired via nexon launcher, moved maple from SDD to HDD, switched from NVIDIA to internal graphics card, reinstalled windows 10, tried a different internet, used wifi, used ethernet, disabled touch screen feature on laptop, confirmed all drivers are updated, disabled windows firewall, disabled windows defender, ran in Windows vista/8 compatibility mode, and several more I can't remember off the top of my head.

The worst thing is that sometimes my whole PC will crash and get BSOD with cause DRIVE_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (even though all drivers are updated).

I've seen other threads with people having event hall lag and none of the solutions have worked for me. If anyone could help me, that would be great.]]>

I'm having an issue getting Maple to run, it will start just fine, and I can select my character and log in just fine. But once I'm in the world, after 5 seconds the game freezes. Every time. And it has done this for well over a year.
I've reinstalled multiple times, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling to both my HDDs, and through the installer and through Steam. The end result is the same.
I posted a ticket to Nexon explaining my specs and my issue, and they sent back a generic "check your internet connection and make sure your specs are good enough to run the game" crap.
Well, I've got a desktop I built. My DL speed is over 50Mb/s, my specs are an i5 4690K and R9 290, Win7. Pretty sure I can run Maple...
I've posted to Maples forum, and Steams forum and no one has replied.

I've tried changing the priorities and had the game and BlackCipher run on 1 and 2 cores, it did nothing.
The game now refuses to let you change the compatibility mode at all.

I've just run out of options and have not found a single person on Google that's had an issue like this.]]>

So we just reconnected an old Wii that hasn't seen use in a few years and turned everything on. First image is Easy Magnus mode and every time I die, I respawn outside instead of in the map.
Second image is my Aran gliding mount (and cannot cancel my glide mid air) and as I get off my mount I glide like a Corsair for some reason.
Third image is my Kaiser's Wing Beat went pass through the monsters and didn't do damage.
Fourth image is self-explanatory.
Fifth image is when I beaten Gollux's head, I'm stuck in this cutscene.

And I gotten another set of problems:
- I'm unable to see the yellow text notifications on my screen (which means I can't see my quest's progression and any elite bosses spawning)
- Unable to mine herbs and veins (can still access the runes)
- My Angelic Buster and Kaiser for some reason can only use their grappling hook once and then cannot use it again until i exit into another map (sometimes I can hook again, but that happens randomly)
- Sometimes my character just stops moving indefinitely when I flash jump off randomly (can still use potions)
- Whatever I drop my items, they don't play the sfx of me dropping the item
- I can't see the mini hp bar and enemy name on normal monsters (and on some bosses like Ranmaru)

I don't know why this happened all of the sudden but I'm convinced my Maplestory folder got messed up and some files were deleted or corrupted. Before I reinstall Maplestory (which I don't want to do because of my ISP's usage limit) can anyone figure out what files are corrupted or something I can do to fix this?]]>  Spoiler

Right click the mapper application, choose "run as administrator"... otherwise they won't work. Cause Maplestory is always run as administrator and unless the mapper application is as well then they won't work in tandem.]]>

Recently I've been looking through a lot of different black friday specials and stumbled upon newegg's DIY bundles (for example: this or this), which seem pretty cheap, but to be honest I've never built a computer myself and although I could probably figure out how to put it together, I have no idea where I'd need to go from there, or if this would even be a good route to go.

I'm mostly just looking for suggestions on what to look for and what to avoid. I want to learn.
