Found out this is based on a cDnF event where you get a pink that levels with you and if you managed to get it to +15 (note: it cannot break from enhancing), you could trade it in to a +12 liberation weapon (very high end lv85 weapon) No idea what'll get changed though.

When you make a new character they will get 2 boxes. One with a free growth weapon(it grows with you like a rental pink and one with a title.

When you clear dungeons above level 20 you can talk to the red bird in Seria's room to claim items the dungeons must be around your level. After 3 dungeons you can get an item that lets you reinforce the event weapon. After 99 dungeons you can get a red paper (Makes the event weapon permanent). If you can get the weapon to + 15, you can trade it for a +12 awakened liberation weapon at the blue bird in Seria's room.

Apparently the first char you log in will get it on a mail, the box will be account bound, but once you open it the weapon will become untradeable.

I've heard the 4% bonus damage on a battle mage goes towards combos, which would mean ez battle groove and chaser spam. So if I open this on my bm it'll be the same level she is?
I know there's some other stuff you have to do for the weapon, but I might just be thinking of the way to make it perm.

Anything with +% damage tends to do it as a second hit, so yeah it should count towards combos. This used to cause me some problems vs the Fire knight in King's Relic with Ghost Sword Elenore...

This event makes me even more disappointed that there's no FSlayer in OBT2...

Yup it should count. I'm debating about opening it on my bella too.

Yep. Confirming it does count.

And the 4% additional damage isn't even on the permanent version of the weapon.

It's easy to know which to use, just kiri them both and the one that survives will be your main weapon

It's annoying that I seem to get way more dragon tears on characters that don't have the weapon. Damn untradeable items making everything a pain, it's Maplestory all over again.

It's only the second day of the event, so you are almost done lol. I thought they would have been more difficult to get.

[COLOR="#cc8899"]I've been storing them in my safe. They don't have an expiration, so I figure on the off chance of the event being brought back later on, I'll have some ready to go (for my characters that don't have one).

Also, the Dragon Tears can drop in Altar of Infinity. Not sure about the other ones.[/COLOR]

So the upgraded dragon weapon does have the 4% bonus damage still.
