Elemental Staff Penalty

Hey all,

Does anyone know whether the elemental staff penalties still exist? Like using an Ele Staff 7 (I/L staff) as a F/P?

It's still around. The penalty is a 75% decrease in F/P elemental damage

The penalty should still be there but last i heard the bonuses were switched in the data when they were re-implemented after they were removed. For example the fire staff gives more damage to poison attacks than it does fire attacks and the ice staff gives more damage to lightning than it does ice.

Last i heard was years ago hehe. Good to know though i have an ice one lying around so maybe i can use it.

Hmm... so does this mean the decrease is for all F/P damage attacks? Guess I need a new staff for my F/P / BW... gah.

all but neutral atks so for a f/p that would be everything but energy bolt and fire aura
