Two Island Mafia
Hello and welcome to Two Island Mafia, a themed mafia game.

Current situation: Pirafia Win


After a large transatlantic cruise ship sank, the passengers are isolated in a two island cluster. However, it is suspected that the ship was actually sabotaged by a group of pirates meaning to steal the passenger’s luggage with all its valuable items.
Now what was meant to be vacation and relaxation has turned into a nightmare, you must eliminate the pirates before they eliminate you!

Special Rules

• By the end of each Day, each player may send a PM to Shidoshi if they want to change islands at the end of the Day. If the player wants to stay on the same island it is not necessary to send a PM.
  
• There are two Lynches per Day, one for each island. This can greatly accelerate the end of the game, be mindful of your choices.
  
• Each island’s voting is independent, having its own majority and ending when it’s attained. However, all players post together in the same topic which will only close when both votings reach majority or the Day ends.
  
• The players will start out half in each island, assigned randomly.

 Rules - updated 06:35am PST 2014/05/19

1- All players have a role in the game and it is forbidden to reveal the content of your Role PM ipsis litteris in the game’s topic. Paraphrasing is fine, there’s no guarantee anyone will believe you though.

2- Do not reveal information of the game to people not participating on it, it may create problems if they come in and substitute another player mid-game.

3- The game will cycle between Day and Night until a faction wins the game. Days will last 48h, Nights will last 24h.

4- The game will begin on Day 1, there will already be voting on that day.

5- All votes must be bolded. If you wish to remove your vote, remove the boldface from your previous vote and only then make a new one. If a Lynch voting ends in a draw, the player who achieved that amount of votes first will be lynched.

5.1- Votes on each Island should be labeled accordingly so there's less confusion about which of the votings each one's part of.

6- Voting for No Lynch is an acceptable vote option during the Day and it will result in no player been lynched that Day. If it is wise or interesting to do so is up to the players.
Ex. [Vote A] No Lynch

7- Be mindful when editing posts. Unless it's a really minor thing like spelling mistakes, always favor making a new post instead. DO NOT edit posts after the end of the Day.

8- Players are strictly forbidden to talk in private, unless their Role PM explicitly tells them they can.

9- If you are dead or not playing you can’t post on the game’s topic. Another topic will be made for discussion.

10- The players’ Role PM will be revealed by me when they die.

11- If you have any questions about your Role PM, the game, or any other commentary or concern, send me a PM. Avoid talking on the game or discussion topics so as to avoid revealing sensitive information.

12- Do not impersonate other players or me, do not produce fake logs, do not take screenshots of the game, do not discuss in private with other players unless your role PM explicitly allows it.

13- If any players breaks any of these rules, he will receive punishment accordingly. In the worst case, he’ll be removed from the game and, possibly, future games by me.

14- If there’s any changes to the rules, you will be warned.

Using your expert swimming abilities you can move to the other island during the Night, blocking any abilities from targeting you. The effort of making the cross will leave you exhausted, so you can’t use this ability two Nights in a row.

You are Ewan Ellijah, the Navy Inspector. After many years working the Mediterranean docks in Marseille you have retired and you were celebrating on a transatlantic cruise trip. Now you are together with the other survivors in these deserted islands.
Each Night you may investigate a player who has changed islands during the Day. You’ve made your check-ups when retiring, so you know you are mentally healthy.

You are Ryan Rio, the Traveller. After uncountable trips to all 6 continents working as a waiter, office boy, janitor, mailman and other simple jobs you had finally saved enough money for a trip that didn’t depend on hitchhiking. By mischance, that trip ended in disaster, the ship sunk and you ended up in these two islands with the other survivors.
You are adept of the philosophy that travelling will bring benefits to anyone. Every 3 times you change islands you gain the power to kill a player at Night.

Well, being shipwrecked is pretty bad but I was in need of a vacation anyway. I'll try to make the best of this while we wait to get rescued.

We should probably build a fire and either find or make some shelter, its getting kind of cold.
