What were/are some of the feelings and/or thoughts that playing a game, or completing a game have produced?
One for me came after i had finished playing Star Ocean: Til the Ends Of Time. The story was just beautiful, but once the ending animation had finished playing, I was suddenly struck with the strong urge to know what the meaning of life was. And I mean strong, quickened heart beat and everything.
So what about you?

After playing Persona 3 for too long I have a strong urge to shoot myself in the temple to see if I can evoke any power.

I remember when I first played FF8, and it was the Ragnarok scene with Squall and Rinoa with "Eyes on Me" playing. I broke down realllllllyyyyy bad crying, and I don't know why.

I got extremely depressed when I beat GTA4. It was like playing an Oscar movie, and now it's over, and that sucks.
Eh, I'll eventually find the time to devote 78 hours of playing through it again. 8D

I got all teary-eyed after beating Xenosaga III. Then I looked up the uncensored cutscenes are got even more-so teary-eyed, along with a tad-bit angry at Namco-Bandai for censoring the game to all hell compared with the others.

Oh wow, I can go on and on with this list...
Illusion of Gaia (ending)
FFIV (Palom and Porom, and alot of other parts)
MGS4's (ending)
Star Ocean 2 (ending)
FFVIII (ending)
FFVII (Aerith)
FFIX (ending got me BIG time)
However, I remember pissing off my (now ex-)girlfriend when she asked what I felt when I saw the ending to FFX-2. Anger. Pure anger. The end to FFX was perfect. The fact that they decided to completely change that and go "YAY EVERYONE IS HAPPY" murdered the great ending to FFX. It was happy, it was sad, it was moving, it was deep...damn you, Squeenix. Damn you.

Final Fantasy IX's ending left me depressed for a while. It was the one Final Fantasy that really gripped me. I actually enjoyed those characters unlike other cardboard Final Fantasy characters.

wow, i guess i gotta finally play that copy of FF9 i got sitting around haha. Also, GTA4 is just awesome, it IS like a freakin oscar movie being played out at will, and im not even half way done with it, at least maybe with the story. And the Aerith part of FF7 had to have been killing everyone who was deep into the story of the game. I REALLY hope Enix decides to make a PS3 exclusive remake of it, I can see Sony really urging them to also, cause that would absolutely floor both the 360s and Wiis sales.

The ending of Crisis Core strongly hints at a remake of FFVII.
To be continued in...
FINAL FANTASY VII
Or something along those lines.
This reminds me that Crisis Core made me depressed as hell when I beat it.

@Luscent:
Thought the same thing with Rydia in FFIV, and that changed...damnit, FFIV still had the best story in my mind, because as much as FFVII and FFIX had deep moments, I can sit and name a TON of deep stuff that happened in FFIV instead of just a few good moments.

Honestly I didn't find Final Fantasy VII that deep. Maybe it was due to fact that the story was rather dull at times and parts of it just seemed to be pulled together out of nowhere. Final Fantasy IX was much deeper, and a much better play overall in my mind. Still Final Fantasy isn't much for deep games as far as RPG's go, and they aren't even in my top 20 for "deep" games.

Well, I can say this and I admit it is pathetic since I can't really say that I got into all the characters from the RPGs I've played in days past: but any decent RPG that has an orchestrated ending that was a modification of the primary melody of the game can get to me. I don't know how, but the music can move me far more than the scenes portrayed.
I mean it is quite pathetic really. With the list of games I have played, many endings are similar repeats of what I have seen in the past, but they still manage to get to me at least in the moment.

After messing around on my friend's GTA, I get a sudden urge to hijack and car and ram into other cars with it, or spawn a tank or something. :f6:

Bioshock's ending. Enough said.
Edit: Also, I did not care for FFVII's storyline. I fail to see why anyone would like it.

Lost Odyssey is very adept at pulling on your heart strings, particularly in the dream sequences & the funeral pyre scene. The "Dont forget me now, you hear?" and "Hannah's Departure" dreams are amongst the first and they really set the tone of the game nicely. There's transcripts on the wikia.
Then again, that's to be expected of a story based on an immortal man, forced to constantly see the people he loves age & die...
