Hunting low level monsters for equipment drops

I think the anti bot thing prevents higher level characters from finding equip drops from lower level mobs, but I'm not sure what the level cut off is - just wondering if anyone knows how this works?

I want to hunt for some Lightning earrings (only drops from Iron Boars, which are level 24), and I want to know what level range the character should be that I try and find them on.

Everything but the exp should still apply, so level 29 would be your limit before the drop reduction kicks in.

Drop rate & meso rate should only apply to mobs below lvl 150, so only sucks if you are doing what [MENTION=2375]Mazz[/MENTION] is doing.

These might sound like silly questions, but I jut want to be sure:

A) Are bosses affected by this [I'm assuming no but still want to check]

B) Are familiar cards affected by this? [i know for some monsters they still drop like candy [spore], but I still havnt found a big spider card on my level 200 DS with multiple drop rate multipliers]

A) No
B) No, drop rates for some familiars are just low.
