Hancock

I'm surprised nobody has made a thread about this movie yet. I saw it on Friday, and it was great. At first I thought it'd be just another one of those same-old plot superhero movies, but the "Not your average superhero" slogan they created fits really well. It had the action, suspense, comedy, gigantic twist; most of what a good movie contains.

I was disappointed. They started out great but then turned it from a comedy into a serious movie, and it was just...blech. The last bit of the movie was somewhat awkward. It felt like he completely went out of character for the second half, and not in a normal "dynamic character" way. Started out good, but a bad ending in my mind.

My same thoughts.
I loved how he dealt with the inmates though.
I preferred him as the Superman-Hobo-on-a-bender.

It wasn't that great. Some moments were funny, but the storyline was bland and the villain (if you can call that a villain) was underdeveloped and one-dimensional. I give it a 3/5.

I really liked that movie. I actually found it more dramatic than action-packed. But overall it was really good. I liked the part where he dealt with that Michelle kid. xD

So who was the villain? Oh yea, there weren't any.

i watched the first 5 minutes of the movie on the internet and fell asleep. it was really that boring....

I saw it today and I enjoyed it, the twist took me by surprise and the ending was good. The villains weren't that great, I felt that could've been improved somewhat. But yeah, it was nice to watch.

Anyways, I wanna see it. It looks really good. I love Will Smith too, so that's a definite plus.

I saw it last night, it was great. I don't go to the movies very often but when I do it has to be a really good movie. It was really funny while maintaining a good serious storyline.

When it first started out I thought it was going to be lame but as I sat further into it, I really enjoyed the movie. The twist was crazy and my face was in a confused look for about 5 seconds lol.

an ok movie, but abit disappointing.
everyone else already said it, the beginning was good, there wasn't any real villains and they ruined it with the end.

but i wonder why no one mentioned this - the filming of the movie was crap, it looks like the camera guy has parkinson or is just some random guy with a video-cam, i bet the pirate versions are better than the theatre ones.
i hate movies like that.

My favorite part was either the end with *SPOILER* Moon thing...

or when he cuts the guys hand.. and whenever he says his famous thing... "If you call me an pimento one more time...."

I watched it, it's great at the start but towards the end, it doesn't appeal as good as the start to my opinion...
Overall, the movie was alrite, 6/10
