What would writers primarily be writing? Opinion pieces, or just straight-up reporting on content/etc.?

We're heading toward a more op-ed direction...or at least shifting the focus to those types of pieces. Content and general reporting about the game will always be an integral part, but given the times and the current state of the game we'll be trying to encourage discussions based on op-ed pieces. Writers are encouraged to write about anything they are interested in or think our readers and the MapleStory community may be interested in.

ei: criticism about nexon, pointing out bugs and glitches, informing people of possible dangerous hacks, writing about future content etc.

No, we do not censor our writers or our content. As long as there is a point being made, anything is fair game.

It's not extremely strict. The golden rule is quality > quantity. I just have to have some type of ballpark posting guideline so people don't think they can make a post once and then not write again for months (if you intend to do that, becoming a contributor might be a better idea). A few posts a month is generally average for our writers.

Put down everything. Start from the very beginning when you learned your first word and end it with your ambitious drive to go to college to major in the English language. Go through the anguish you had to face as you had to balance commitments to two dreams, one being the highest level player with the highest level DPS in the game and the other being the most academically talented student in your school with the highest GPA and SAT scores in the county. Charm us with your humor, seduce us with love interests, and invigorate us with your dreams and passions. You my friend, aspire to be a maple writer. There is no turning back now.

Sounds so tempting. I've so busy though, so probably won't have time. I'd like to read these OP-eds when they come out!

I'm vaguely interested. Really sucks I don't play Maplestory anymore though.

I'll do it. I'm interested in game journalism anyways, so this could be some good experience.

I'm unsure on how much of a contributor I could be but I am tempted to at least apply.
