All of this is currently in the works and these donation ranks are now effective. Everyone that donated as of 11:59 PM EST on July 4, 2008 will be a part of the "Premium Donator" section regardless of how much they donated.
Basic Donator: --> $5 donation
Premium Donator: --> $15 donation
Gold Donator: --> $20 donation

Why I created this forum:
I created this forum for several reasons:
- So that I can make some money off of my knowledge.
- So that these forums can be tailored for my own extraction purposes
It was either I did it this way through donations or I completely stopped altogether. Because I do care about the community, I dropped everything I ever created at Sleepywood, made this website, and made this tiered donation list to further support me so that I could continue this work AND make some money in the process. It's obvious by the way that this forum has grown that people do appreciate the work that I do for the community, but I can't work for free forever. I can't always code for free. There is a time investment here to create scripts and programs and stay up late at night and make guides.
Q: Why are you asking for donations?
A: Something you must understand is that asking for Premium donations is not greed. It's because I am running this site in lieu of having a steady job at some restaurant where I have to work for someone else. This website is my job and this website does take a lot of work. Many pay upwards of $25 just to change what server they play on or change their IGN - why not donate here where you get much more for your money?
Q: I just donated! Now what do I do?
A: Wait until I see that the transaction is valid and has gone through. Once that happens and I check to see your donation history, I will upgrade your account.
Q: What methods of payment do you take?
A: Donations will only come through Paypal. This will be the only method of accepting donations. It's not necessary to transfer money from your bank account to Paypal before paying me. I have a premier account and I get the same fees whether you transfer a Paypal balance or you pay by credit/debit card. Under no reason will I give anyone my mailing address for a donation. If you want to donate, Paypal is the only way to do it.
Q: Can I get the Basic package now and the Premium package later?
A: Of course. Once you get the Basic package, you can elect to send it $10 later for the Premium or $15 later for the Gold status.
Q: A feature you have listed in here isn't working. What do I do?
A: These forums are still very new. The chances for bugs at this point is still possible and I'm trying the best I can to get these features ironed out as quickly as possible. All of the features listed here will be given to you sometime before July 12. That much is a guarantee. If you find a feature that isn't working, please post in the donator forum.
Q: Is there any way that I can lose my donator status?
A: There are several ways that it can be lost, but they're all easily avoidable.
1. Any donator caught leaking information to the public that is supposed to be donators only will lose their donator status and will not be able to regain it with donations. I have a zero-tolerance policy for information leakage and it is strictly prohibited. Again, this is easily avoidable. Don't leak information.
2. Get banned.
Q: What are the current custom scripts that we'll have access to?
A: At this time, the following are available:
VersionChecker --> Many of the problems that people ran into with my previous pre-patchers was that it would freeze on Base.wz. I would ask the people to send me their Base.wz files, and 99% of the time the WZ file was the wrong version to patch, and therefore the patcher wasn't working. This VersionChecker would help to alleviate this problem by showing people what version are all of their files.
MusicRipper --> Jr. Boogie from Sleepywood isn't all that effective for getting all of the newest music from Maplestory. This script would rip all of the music from Sound.wz for you and would be continuously updated every patch.
