Are You F***ing Serious?

So I had some money that I wanted to spend on NX. I go to Target and buy 2x 25$ NX Cards, simple as that. The lady there was awfully unorganized and just took my cards, scanned them, and gave me them back, wanting 50$. So I pay her, and I go back home, scanning them. Too bad none of them work. I go back, and she wouldn't take it since they both were scratched. Wow.

I always check bro.

I'm very very very very sorry this happened.

I would be furious like none other right now if I just lost 50 bucks. Tongue

That happened to me one time. I made sure I had the receipt and took them back. I was able to get new one's because they didn't activate them at the register. Maybe try talking to a manag and hopefully you still have your receipt.

My friends did this at Best buy and it worked.

Thank God I live right next to them (Literally). So this is what the dumb ass manager said: 'We're sorry, but if we let you take two 25$ cards for free, everyone'll want one.'

Were they scratched when you bought them? Never mind. xP

Sorry this happened. $50 down the drain has got to be frustrating.

That's not right because it's that twats fault that she didn't activate them. How were you suppose to know. Sure you should of checked the receipt but she should of been doing her job properly.

I say go to CVS Smile

lol. Not like he benefits from it Tongue. I'm just saying, when I have bought from there I've never had an issue. Plus at CVS, it automatically gets activated where as at Target they have to swipe it again after scanning the bar code.

Request that they look at the security video to see if they were activated. You can easily argue this.

And what? All they'll see is two small blobs of me and the cashier. They won't actually ZOOM IN all the way to see the actual code-login of the card... Unless...

And I tried CVS. I don't like it there, too many old people, it makes me feel wierd buying NX cards while they're buying their medicine ._.

No, but it will show whether the woman swipes the card through, or just scans it.

Can a card be activated after being scratched off?

This is why you always check the receipt and make sure they both have "Activation Successful" on them before you leave the store.

THIS. Just like RahlsSolider said, they should be able to tell if the woman activated them. Also, did they give you a reciept. If not, then that's a major problem, especially in stores like Target.

Was this in the electronics department, or at the front checkout? The local Target here has the electronics registers in a circle, and certainly under camera watch.

Also, was the manager you spoke to the head manager of the store? Usually stores have several assistant managers, and one head manager who rarely makes himself seen.

Worse comes to worse, maybe try contacting Nexon (maybe try calling them, instead of using the worthless ticket system). I know that sounds really stupid, but never give up until you've tried every last option.

Since a card can't be activated twice, go in and tell them that, and ask if they can activate it. simply that will show if there at falt.

Otherwise there being really dumb about it.

For those of you reccomending CVS, the employees at mine forgot to activate them twice, but thankfully I caught that on the receipt before leaving the store since the receipt says whether or not its activated...

Never had a problem like this at a NOT SO LOCAL 7/11 before (23 miles away from current residence)
