I'm going to use the reasoning that some people gave the last time this happened and say that they were gathering information on the issue and maybe trying out their options to fix it.

Insert cynical and jaded comment here because dwelling on worst-case scenarios with respect to Nexon is extremely productive and fulfilling.

because nexon HQ is literally completely empty on the weekends

they simply don't work weekends.
