Drop rate decrease?

So ive been hunting Master death teddies since i was lvl 114 for the Angelic Bless recipie. I am now lvl 124(I stayed there all 10 lvls) and still no recipe drop . Some alliance members tell me the drop rate decreases if im stronger than the death teddies, Is this true?
Tips on getting the ABR Recipe?

I am currently there on my Mercedes, My Shad however has had no problem getting these in the past(Before Cannoneers)

It's the anti-bot system implemented during Jump i think and yes the higher level you are to a monster the drop rate will decrease.

My Shad got 2 after the Jump patch, And he was higher level than my Mercedes.
Is it just a luck thing?

No im still getting other drops, Its just my Shad got 2 recipies withing an hour of hunting, My mercedes hasnt gotten anything in lvl 114-124 of hunting.

Doesn't kick in until you're 10 levels over, I believe. From then on, the exp/drop rate decreases steadily every 5 levels.

So since im 124 and the MDT's are 116 I only have 2 more lvl to get the recipe then or i'm screwed?

A way to test it is to see if you get a drop in EXP in 2levels, or even now. If the EXP went down, the droprate did, too.

Anyway...no it won't stop. All I'm saying is if you see MDT EXP per kill decrease, then the droprate did too.

Nope everything's fine except for the Recipe drop, I was wondering if i couldnt get em anymore or if i'm just really unlucky lol.

Wasn't there an increased drop rate for recipes and such when professions came out? If so, then it's no wonder ABR isnt that common anymore.

Nope. It is just a luck thing.

Drop rate will continue to diminish to the point where you don't even get meso anymore. You will however still get event drops and the mob drops- just don't count on equip, use or meso drops anymore as stated above (10 lvl or more over).

If you're 20 or more levels higher than a monster, except Monsters in World Tour areas and Masteria, you get 40% less EXP and you'll be unable to get any non-ETC or non-quest drops.

How did Nexon fix this for lvl120 Cygnus chars being forced to train at low lvl monsters for those Ultimate Adventurer dews?

The droprate was already nexon-retarded low (like 1 per 2 hours?), so now it's like 1 per 10 hours?

I sense a fail here...

It doesn't affect quest item drops.
