Itty Bitty Event Committee Recruitment!

As the title states, I will be recruiting people to have the opportunity to assist me with events. I am looking for a handful of creative individuals to help me in coming up with contests.

The rules will be fairly simple.

• Please PM me an essay, a paragraph or two should be sufficient.
  
• Please explain WHY you would like to be a part of this committee and what you would have to offer should you be selected.
  
• Once I have all of the entries, the moderators will discuss which individuals will be accepted.
  
• Eos will then create a specific forum for committee members only where we can discuss and brainstorm ideas for future contests.
  
• Please keep in mind that you may or may not be able to participate in future events if you are selected.
  
• Ask all questions you may have within this thread.
  
• PM all entries to TaliaNCo no later than November 9th, 2011 @ 11:59pm PST.

Answering before they're asked;

• Yes you can do this if you're also/already a content tester.
  
• Mods do not need to apply.
  
• Fiel can decide for himself if he wants to be involved but most likely doesn't/won't.
  
• No this will not be the One And Only time to ever apply for this but will be the only time this year.
  

Ill think about it... I kind of do my own events already. It would be nice to make them "Official".

Hmm... I could contribute to this but I need to think about it a little more. Seems like a great idea when you have the manpower behind it.

I think I'll apply later tonight, because I already know I'm more creative minded than everyone else here. Unfortunately my application will be immediately disregarded because I've been "mean" to people in the past. OH WELL!

Angry Greg Contest: Post idiotic comments in a contest to see which ones will get under Greg's skin. The judge for the contest is Greg. The measuring criteria will be Greg's face. Collection and delivery of results will be handled by Greg's computer. M4K3 TH1S H4PP3N N3RDS.

Can we give our input without being a committee member? I have ideas, but I want to participate in them.

Members are only prohibited from events they have an unfair advantage in.

It wouldn't be fair for you to participate in a riddle contest you supplied the riddles for, for example.

So Eos, are you going to be the final judge whether an event will roll or not? If you are, well...there goes 99.99999999% of all ideas.

Is it okay for us to apply if we don't often play maplestory?

You're not applying for a maplestory job, so I don't see how that matters honestly.

Yeah, that's my reasoning too. Although I feel like a bit of a hanger on here at Southperry given that I quit Maplestory a number of years ago! So kinda wondered about it.

A good portion of the community in social hasn't played Maple for awhile.

I was forced to read this post, and I have absolutely no idea why.
I guess I'll apply tomorrow, because I really don't want to write at the moment.
