Guild GP

Anyone know the values of GP you can gain doing "X"?

Only one I know is purchasing a skill to gain 1k GP.

If I remember right from Tespia, adding a person to the guild = 500 GP, leveling up if you're under level 100 = 40 GP, leveling up if you're 100+ = 80 GP, being logged on for an hour = 10 GP.

You also lose 500 if someone leaves as well.

Does anyone know how much GP you need to get to the next level?

not sure if it's a total, or a needed to level number, put next to where your GP is, there is a "/20000", so i'd have to say... 20 k GP?
gonna take a while...

20,000 for the first level, 160,000 for the second. We're about halfway to Level 3 now... I'm not sure if I want to see how much Level 4 will require though.

Does staying logged in accumulate more points as you stay logged in longer? For the past few hours I've gotten 30 points every hour instead of 10. >_> Dunno why.

EDIT: Unless if "contribution" is not the same thing as GP?

We had around 70,000 points from GPQ before, and if we did keep 1/10th of that, it should have been 7000. I noticed one of my juniors bought every skill available, which was about 6000 from him. I'm not sure how we had already reached Level 2... I slept in and logged on pretty late today.

Now the question is, does GPQ still give valid GP?

If you mean just having every skill, They're all unlocked at Level 4. Of course, maxing every skill happens at Level 10.

Yeah, I'm seeing the same... I logged on my Pally last night and got the 10 hour "suggested break" just now, then earned 30 GP. Giving me a total of 340 GP. If I scroll up a bit, I see the 9hr and 8hr notices followed by +30 GP as well.
My lv.47 I/L Wiz was online overnight and also saw +30GP per hour for a lot of that time...

I thought the guild only loses the GP a member has given, like if I did 1000 GP when kicked the guild loses 1000 GP.
So those that mean that if I go on a crazy kicking spree (kicking about 50 members) I end up losing 500 from each member even if he/she hasn't logged in months and hasn't contributed with any GP?

Common misconception. You don't lose 500 GP, you lose all of their contributed GP. So if you have a member who hasnt been on months and you kick them, you'll lose no GP.

So really, any guild member with under 500 gp should be kicked and reinvited to get free GP...

The smarter thing to have done was kick basically everyone before the patch, and re-add them all after it. Wink
