You know, humans actually use way more of their brain than 10%.
It's just when that was quoted in the 90's, it became distorted and what they were really saying was that scientists and neurologists only knew what 10% of your brain did, not that it only used 10%.

Complete sense, except that very last part.

Some call it a power trip while other's call it playing God.

When it all comes down to it, you are a statue, watching a play being performed in front of your eyes until your death. You can't run from it.

Eventually, you realize you can control the play, and tend to do so.
You act as if every existence is just that: existence.
There is no human, no animal, no desk, no laptop, no internet, no love, no nothing.
There is only existence.

You are a floating piece of existence.

I am like this everyday :3.

I had this mindset too, but it's too easy to treat other people as just pawns in the massive game of life. It's too easy to become filled with greed because obviously everyone else has just been devalued. It's a thoroughly meaningless existence, and I'd just as soon not have it.

Thats not where that "fact" came from. When the internet started, there were skeptical websites dedicated to debunking stupid "fun facts". A couple of these sites had a contest amongst themselves how stupid of a thing they could get people to believe.
