Blank Shot vs Grenade post BB

Okay so after BB it looks like you can only do either 20Blank Shot/1 Grenade or 20 Grenade/1 Blank Shot. Seeing as my Corsair is level 145, I'll be past the point where I'll need Blank Shot...I think. I was planning to max Grenade since I never use Blank Shot and it seems like the extra DoT would help, but I don't know. Are there any monsters a 14x Sair would need blank shot for over IS? Does Grenade even help that much post BB?

Flamethrower is good for DoT, but I have no clue if it stacks with Grenade's DoT. Grenade still sucks IMO.

Grenade is still crap after BB. Blank shot can still be used on unfreezable targets.

One of the biggest problems Grenade has is the time it takes to launch it, and you also have to aim properly. By that time, the DoT won't matter, it'd be more damage to just blast them with cannon/torp, or set down an Octopi if you've enough time to blow them up.

Or just use Flamethrower, I'm pretty sure the DoT doesn't stack with each other.

It doesn't really matter. Both skills are pretty useless by the time you're 4th job, but at least Blank Shot may have some kind of practical use in a situation where you need to stop a monster that can't be frozen. Grenade is still pretty much never used, even after BB. Unless you wanna do that Aqua Road dive-bombing thing for fun.

Actually, I may dump my Blank Shot points into grenade just for that...

Both skills are completely useless past 2nd job.
