Update: Nexus One changes in availability

Earlier this year, we announced that we will be closing the Nexus One web store. This week we received our last shipment of Nexus One phones. Once we sell these devices, the Nexus One will no longer be available online from Google. Customer support will still be available for current Nexus One customers. And Nexus One will continue to be sold by partners including Vodafone in Europe, KT in Korea, and possibly others based on local market conditions.

To ensure our developers have access to a phone with the latest Android OS, Google will be offering the Nexus One through a partner for sale to registered developers. Visit the Android Market Publisher site and log into your developer account to purchase a Nexus One.

Thoughts?

Also what the hell should I buy now???
It has to be able to run on T-mobile....

A few questions.
1.) Does at&t sell unlocked phones? Any android ones?
2.)Do explain what this ultrasn0w is and is it legal?

1) no, att doesnt sell unlocked phones and i think they have one android phone. just buy an iphone 3gs or 3g and dont update it- jailbreak it and youll be able to do so much more

2) ultrasn0w isn't illegal- it's a carrier unlock for the iphone since the iphone is supposedly att exclusive. ultrasn0w will allow you to pop in your tmobile sim card and get it to work. it only works on jailbroken phones.

Just get a normal Nokia phone... small / lightweight / excellent photo and video recording / excellent voice quality / extreme battery life.
Unless you're addicted to mobile internet offcourse....

Just ask yourself why you would want a large / heavy smartphone which battery drains within one day...
99% of the use of a mobile phone is ... phoning / texting... Smile

I myself have a Nokia 6700 Black Classic myself, and I can't really say I miss out on a lot! Smile

Costs: 18.95 euro/month - 1 year (including phone) - 228 euro total

Technology and gadgets is what I love. It's my form of a video game. And theres no chance in hell I would ever get an I-Phone. I'm specifically looking for a ANDROID phone.

Hmmm 3 choices remaining I guess, if you want a HQ Android Phone:

HTC Desire (They also made and designed the Nexon One Tongue)

Samsung Galaxy S i9000

No. The iPhone is a GSM phone and requires a Micro-sim. As all AT&T Phones. AT&T is GSM.
