Basically a flash game made by a Japanese guy where you level up stats and sword and basically create a sword larger than the world you are on in order to defeat the final boss and get more money for a larger sword.
Fun facts:
- You can enchant your sword with an element, as well. Elements are a key part of some bosses.
- There are 5 equip-ables that cannot be bought, and 7 regular items that must be found. Can you find them all?
- The max level for SIZE on your sword is 19998. 9999 length and 9999 width. The max level for your sword's POWER is currently unknown to me.
- Can you unlock the secret boss?
- Can you defeat the secret boss and unlock Hard mode? (Hard is an understatement!)
Q & A: I'll answer some questions as they come up here.

Quote:Arg! Help me Ryun! I'm having trouble on <Boss>!
Spoiler
You don't need any strategy for bosses until the Sorceress, my only tip until then is to grow a larger sword and just keep hacking away.

Quote:What does <Stat> do?
Spoiler
Might/Strength = How much damage you do... almost pointless next to sword levels early on.
Endurance/Vitality = How much damage you can take. Get max level armor and the buckler before you even think about buying this. (Tip: Get the Plate Armor instead of upgrading your default armor, you'll save a couple mil)
Knowledge/Intelligence = Obviously, it's your spell damage.
Fate/Luck = How often you encounter higher tier monsters. Almost every type of monster has 4 different levels to it, and each level has exponential HP and Money growth for each tier of monster. Although, one specific tier 4 monster that is extremely strong is required for you to beat the game. Have fun with 2 hours of clicking. (Tip: If you've unlocked everything else in the game and you've still got an empty slot in your inventory... Wonder what type of extremely powerful monster would drop what goes in that slot?
Quote:
Quote:wtp! This monster just one-hit killed me even though I have, like, 2000 Vitality and level 9 armor! What bull is this?
Spoiler
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BUY THE BUCKLER. The Buckler is perhaps the most useful equipment in the game, for 50,000 gold (I think?), you can stop those attacks that do extreme amounts of damage right after you attack. No guard button necessary, just equip it and go.
Quote:
Quote:Oh ****. The Sorceress kicks my ass, especially the lightning attack! What's with all these attacks?
Spoiler
The Sorceress is the first part of the game where it gets really hard.
If you bought the buckler, you're a smart guy, and you're on your way. If you haven't figured it out already, the Scimitar is a great weapon, because it is affected the most by width expansions (the tip and the bend are wider than any other sword) ... except for a certain unlockable sword. Get some length, level up, and get a lot of width. Don't stop moving! Keep weaving and when she launches her lightning attack, strike! She tends to cycle her attacks, but sometimes she may use two in a row, be wary.

Quote:What about <boss>? He's even stronger!
Stage 9
Spoiler
Ahh, Ifrit, he'll be the first major trouble many people face. He's got the attacks of a touhou game (youtube it if you don't know what I mean) and the strength of one too.... that is.. unless you find his weakness. A couple tens of water enchantment should do the job. Just don't overenchant.
Stage 10
Spoiler
Lizard Assassin? I hope you didn't put too much water on your sword, as water HEALS him. Get rid of that water and put some fire on that sword and he'll be some crispy lizard really soon.
Stage 11
Spoiler
Necromancer? What? His attacks push you out of the arena? Coin of Bravery. Makes you unable to leave a fight until it is finished for only 5,000 gold. Fairly simple fight, otherwise. Get more INT if you need it.
Stage 12
Spoiler
A big pushover. Just whack at him, preferably with a neutral-enchanted, high level sword. Not tough at all. Fun fact: He drops fruits that can raise your stats when he dies, and his trapfruit can turn out to be Fruit of Might! Also, fans of the Tales series may recognize this boss for some reason. I don't know, maybe it's just me.
Stage 13
Spoiler
Ice Queen. What a *****. Make sure you get some fire on that sword and all you can hope for is a lot of luck (not the stat >_>) and some poor crystal shots (the focused ones will hit more than the ones that shoot everywhere. If you're lucky, she'll interrupt her ice attacks with other ones (heart and lightning, I think?)
Stage 14
Spoiler
Guardian Dragon: Easy. He's easy to kill and easy to dodge, he just has quite a bit of HP.
Stage 15
Spoiler
Death. Ugh. This guy gave me a few troubles. If you've gotten the chaser spell, it will help. When he turns invincible, keep firing chaser so you'll know when to strike. The little "trails of death" are extremely dangerous. Dodge them and you'll save yourself a lot of frustration.
Stage 16
Spoiler
Ahh, the "final" boss. This guy is A PAIN IN THE ASS. The best you can hope for is a lot of dodging and very little of the exploding fireballs. The beams are easy to dodge, usually, but the exploding fireballs can cause a LOT of pain, mentally and on your little guy. I've literally died when this guy had NO YELLOW left in his HP bar thanks to those. What the ****.
Stage 16, Unlockable boss
Spoiler
Hellhound (Tier 1) is a boss you kill for a million or so Gold and a Yummy Bone to buy WAN WAN over with (explained below). Why the hell does he kill you with an extremely HEUG blast? For one thing, his attack is super strong. Not to mention his fireballs are too. Also, he only attacks ever time he gets hit.
What?
You knew these things?
In that case, *coughhisattackwidthisthesamewidthasyourswordwidthsoget0widthandmaxlengthcough*
o_O
Excuse me.
SUPER SEKRIT STAGE
Spoiler
OMG SUPER SPOILERS DUDE
Spoiler
Commonly known as "Bald Space Jesus", the Avatar is the final, secret, super-strong boss. I won't give you a strategy for this: But instead, two item names and an element: Energy Sword, Dark, and Hyper Armor.
Quote:
Quote:Well how do I get to this SUPER SEKRIT STAGE, Ryun?
Spoiler
Once you equip the item you get from killing the Stage 16 first boss, you must go to each shrine of a stat. (Might in stage 2, Endurance in stage 6, Knowledge in stage 9, Fate in stage 12). Try and figure it out , man!
Oh fine, I'll spoil them below if you so require.
Might
Spoiler
Hey look, here comes a killer wall from the right! Quickly, kill it before it pushes you out of the stage or crushes you to death! Simple really.
Endurance
Spoiler
Oh noes, a fairy is attacking you with fireballs that do no damage!
1. Enter level
2. Get off the computer for a couple minutes to get a snack or a drink or use the restroom or whatever.
3. ?????
4. Profit!
Knowledge
Spoiler
Yay, multiplying slimes! Put on your tallest boots and go squish them. That's right, all you need to do is walk over them, silly.
Fate
Spoiler
All luck. The 100 gold bag will move to you when you get close enough to grab it, so just walk around the bags, grab it, and get out of there without getting killing
Loose ends
Spoiler
You may need to kill the hellhound once, or repeat the shrines a couple times to get your trophy glowing. Also you need a certain percentage of your monster library in order to enter the SUPER SEKRIT STAGE too, like 85%.

Quote:Ummm... i bork. will cut monsters 4 golds. No seriously, how do I farm money?
Spoiler
Two important things: Monster tiers and Location. Stage 10 has excellent money drops (100k+ from a single tier 1 monster!), but once you hit stage 13, you're set for life. Look around for the Frozen Wastes. Here, you will encounter every single monster that isn't exclusive to a single stage (E.X. Dragon, bosses, hellhound, etc). The catch is, every monster here has the same HP and strength like normal, except the money drops are vastly upgraded. This may seem like nothing, but all monsters on the same tier drop similar money. Neko Slime? 50k. Harpy? 50k. Vampire? Around 50k. Next tier: Meta Slime? 500k a bag. Rotten Corpse? About the same as a Meta Slime per bag. Next tier? Pharaoh, yellow mummies, drop several million per bags. Tier 4? Several hundred million per bag. Just be sure for a long clicking session. Frozen Wastes is where you will spend most of your time in Ginormo Sword once you unlock it.

Quote:What are these two weird temples in the game?
Spoiler
These temples are locked until you reach a certain game stage. Upon unlocking, Stage 7 will contain your doppelganger, which drops a very useful item. Stage 13 has a temple with the Abyss worm, which drops a spell that pales in comparison to Chaser.
Quote:
Quote:But Ryun, what are these mystical items that you speak of? And what of this Chaser spell?
Spoiler
Super sekrit spoilers, mang. Don't click the next part if you want to find out on your own.
Spoiler
Doppelganger drops energy sword, which has a small bonus to width extensions, and is extremely long, even at level 0.
Golden Knight (tier 4 Living Armor) is an extremely strong enemy (30 min to two hours of CLICKAN) that drops several hundred million gold and the Hyper Armor, a required piece of equipment if you wish to beat the SUPER SEKRIT BOSS within your lifetime.
Abyss Worm drops the shockwave spell, which is basically a crappy spell that just shoots off a shockwave in a random direction. Really crap.
Chaser. <3 Chaser. Chaser shoots six orbs for each swing of your sword which can strike the enemy multiple times, thus increasing your damage output and easily taking the fun out of killing enemies that are harmed by magic only. How to get it? Prepare 100,000,000 gold and go to the "empty" town in Stage 8. The Sorceress will offer you the spell for 100,000,000 gold at like a 1/50 chance each time you enter/leave.
Quote:
Quote:Why would I want to hire these weird NPCs, and how do they help me?
Spoiler
Indigo=Roger is a guy in stage 6 that basically shoots throwing knives to damage your opponent. His knives are incredibly strong, but he's pretty weak, in general, and may die off quickly. He's a bad shot, too.
NIM NIM is awesome (stage 12). Got in a bad fight where you can't survive for more than 30 seconds? NIM NIM randomly heals you. What a lovely kitty! Useful in long fights. NIM NIM also has quite a length HP bar.
WAN WAN (Stage 1) can only be unlocked by getting a Yummy Bone by killing Hellhound (Stage 16, LOLOLOL) which you kill after killing the False God. He's basically a Hellhound that attacks every time you fire a spell. Handy, dandy. His attack also has the same width as your sword, just like Hellhound!
Quote:
Quote:Alright, I've beaten the SUPER SEKRIT BOSS. Now what?
Spoiler
You're done!
HA. Just kidding. You should have gotten an item called Order of the Star. Once you turn it on, go ahead and try to beat the SUPER SEKRIT BOSS again. Don't bother reading the rest of this, just go do it right now.
What's that? You died in three hits? Well silly, that's because once you equip the Order of the Star, you enter Hard Mode! Even with 2500 Vitality and the SUPER SEKRIT ITEM REQUIRED TO BEAT THE SUPER SEKRIT BOSS, Everything still one-hit kills me. Well what's the point of this, you ask? All money drops are EXPONENTIALLY INCREASED. A Tier 3 mummy (Pharaoh) can drop 2-3 bags of 999,999,999. That's right. TWO TO THREE BAGS. This is at the Frozen Wastes however. Just be sure that you kill monsters that don't shoot projectiles, however, or you'll get killed easily.

One week into Ginormo Sword:
(disregard the little Winamp timer, it's meant to go with another picture)
Two weeks into Ginormo Sword:
I've spent way too much time playing this game. >_> But I won't rest until I beat Hard Mode.
Updates will come less frequently due to recent happenings. See 1st post, page 11 for more details.
Just thought I'd share this almost unknown gem with you all.
Hahaha I love that game, started playing it like 1 month ago, got to the 14th screen, and got bored cause even if I had a 300 fire and/or 300 dark sword against the snowqueen, I can't kill her fast...

Edit: nevermind. lol I got it. The thing is, her lightening doesn't hit you if you stood right where you could hit her hat. As for her multiple bullets -- they're fairly dodgeable, as is the blue ones. :[
Anyone know how much gold the black mummy gives in the Pyramid in Zone 6? I've been whacking it for like 5 minutes and I've only taken like 3 pixels off of it's health. o_o
