What are you playing?

I figured Christmas is coming up and everyone will have all sorts of new games, some which won't warrant topics, so we can talk about our current playings and give little reviews and such in this topic.



Today I was out picking up some stuff and happened to be browsing the PS3 section of a pawn shop and found Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon for $19.00. I hadn't heard anything about this; but I really stopped paying attention to Spyro when I was like 11 and insomniac gave it up.

[spoiler=Spyro rage, hidden so people don't focus too much on it rather than the topic at hand]So I put it in and got ready for some fire-breathing, gnorc-bashing action and... w.. what? WHAT? Has anyone else played Spyro in the last decade that can explain to me what has transpired? Last I remember Sparx couldn't speak english and Hunter was pretty darn useless. Also everything was very colourful and Spyro wasn't FIST FIGHTING.

Honestly, I'm only 10 minutes in and I'm already afraid to keep playing. Sparx has pineappleING ABS. ABS. A SIX PACK.

I'm currently playing:

PSP:

- FFVII (again)
- Assassin's Creeed: Bloodlines (just finished it last night)
- Monster Hunter 2ndG (a.k.a. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite in the americas)
- Half-Minute Hero (trying to accomplish 100% in items and titles)
- DJ Max Portable Black Square.

PC:

- MapleStory (lol not obvious since I've just returned after 1 year hiatus)
- Touhou (I do a playthrough sometimes)

PS2 (lolreplays):

- Okami
- FF XII
- FF X-2.

That's about it currently I guess.

Well, I've recently tried playing Rock Band at a friends house and I was quite surprised to find out that I kinda like it.
Also having a jolly good time with Sports Resort.

 Regarding your Spyro game

I remember reading it was part of a trilogy where they've all grown. Maybe the story will make more sense if you get the other 2 games.

Rock band 2, and w/e gba or ds game i can find lying around the house. Mostly pokemon and medabots

Wii: Whatever I feel like playing on Homebrew.
DS: Advance Wars: Dual Strike
PC: DFO

PC: Left4Dead2 and Cod 6. A little bit of Maplestory.

w3, DotA and chess.

PSP:
-Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
-Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days (current DLCs = makes me want to play again)

-Tales of Eternia

GameCube:
-Super Smash Brothers Melee (the only game that I play more than any of my other games, yes, that includes my PSP games)

PS1 on Computer:
-Legend of Dragoon (I'll be playing this again, but on the computer via emulator)

Blazblue. Picked it up over Thanksgiving break when I went home. Other than that, I grabbed a few of my old GBA games, so I've been trying a 1% run on Metroid Fusion.

360: Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, Forza 3, Assassin's Creed 2.

I had some leftover NX saved to spend on the last weekend's Black Friday sale, and ended up getting the Mushroom House. I assumed it was going to last 90 days like it said so in the data, but... :<

But yeah, all I really do on Maple is vend this pair of earrings that I've been trying to sell for months now. I used to be into DFO, but it wasn't long until I got bored of it. I might get back into it eventually.

i've been playing from most recent ; DFO
gold sun lost ages (gba) , gold sun(gba) , ff8 (ps) , and ff7(pc)

games i plan on playing some time in the future ; super mario rpg(snes , BEST GAME EVER IMO ) , Zelda spirit tracks, and finally play dragon age once laptop is on windows 7

I don't own any consoles or handhelds past N64.

PC: DFO, MapleStory.

PS3- waiting on FFXIII still....... it was advertised before PS3 was even released, yet it's almost 2010 and no FXIII. Waiting for kingdom hearts 3 also.

PC- WoW of course , gonna hop on Aion a bit this weekend. I played Aion for like 2 weeks and went back to WoW because Aion still needs a bit of work (gold spammers nonstop, lag like crazy, and slow gameplay). Visually looks nice though.

I never really understood all the hype for l4d, the first game or the second. My friends all love it, but it just seems so boring and pointless to me. Call of duty is a lot of fun, but i think the game that might bring me back to console gaming is forza 2. CANT WAIT!
